I'd be wary about playing up a bumper horse's chances just because a horse it has beaten won it's first novice hurdle .................... totally different spheres of racing. A point in case being Ericht - looked an awesome prospect in bumpers but can't hurdle to save his life. Again the other day at Kempton he looked very impressive in that jumpers bumper
I have had a small each way on the Cantillon horse in the 4.20 and Competitve Edge in the 4.10 and the each way double for interest.

Wouldn't you love to know exactly how Nicholls views the jumpers bumpers because if he went for them his string is on poor form. If he undercooked the lot he's fizzing away nicely
