Hi I am prepared to collect kit tomorrow before and after the game. Anyone who cant do this at short notice could give kit to anyone going to west ham next week, and we'll arrange a meet there. I have a friend Sunderland Phil from Standich who has offered to pay the carriage for a large suitcase full. I can get an oldish suitcase no probs. Its would help if anyone would like to donate £1 with the kit they donate to help towards getting it to London (diesel) as I will drive it down on Thurs26th and they should have it 1 week later. If this meets with your wishes I will collect outside the south stand between the 2 food trailers oppisite the away end from 11-45 to12-35 as I also want to see the game, and after the match for 30 mins or so. I no this is short notice but it has dragged on to long so lets get the show on the road. I will be in and out all night tonight but i'll log on every time i'm in to see your response. ps I hope this is worth a rep point,LOL.

    Fantastic gesture billpev,

Let me know how it goes, i may not have any shirts as i'm travelling from Durham rather than home, but if you PM me an adress i can send you a few shirts i can collect from the lads, and some cash to help out.

I'll try and get some kit for tomorrow if it's possible.

I'll even see if i can get the boys to chip in for a brand new shirt, i think it'd be great for them to receive one.

How will we know it's you?

Where will you store them during the game!

If theres only a black sack full I'll take them in the match with me. However if there are loads I'll blag the owner of the scran wagons to keep them during the game. You will know me as i'll have black binliners and mayby a sign shirts and kit for africa. plus I pitched for years on the markets so I wont be quiet. I,m hoping people who buy a new top tomorrow will throw in there current one after the game. Obviously I'll wash them before they are packed. Wish me luck as the response has not been great on here . I'll get my son to PM you tomorrow.

To add to this, the car's broken down near Brighouse so collection of strips today isn't going to happen. There will be a collection at West Ham away, more details will be posted once they've been figured out.

Hi and sorry for the problems I had today. I am sorry for any inconvenience it caused to anyone. Unfortunately the turbo blew in the engine and I had to return home in a tow truck. Evidently it is an expensive job buts thats my problem. As well as myself I had 3 passengers with me so they also missed the game.
However I'm determind to get this kit away, I have some kit here inclueding boots and trainers. I will be at West Ham on sunday in the minibus with the bar in it. We park up with all the away coaches so if anyone can get kit to someone going to west ham collection will not be a problem. Remember every bit of kit will help, but 20 or so of this seasons will kit the team out in matching uniform. TOPS SHORTS SOCKS BOOTS SHINPADS, will all be usefull. They also need a change strip so away kit will also be very welcome. I know that this is more challenging than a collection at a home game, but please do your best as these people are relying on us, and it will be great PR, and spreed the name of our club in Africa. Once again sorry about today. Yours Bill.
