Crouch was sold through necessity last time. We had just gone into receivership. If you remember most of the squad left on frees, at least we got good money for Crouch and a sell on clause that got us another million later.

He is also, in case you’ve forgotten, an international striker with a very good goal scoring record. I’d love to see him back, I think he would fit into our system pretty well.

Agree with you Rollercoaster, loved 'Shaggy' when he was last at Rangers, and with two wingers supplying him he could be very effective. Anyway, he's not that old is he?

We don't know that they will.

However there could be a multitude of reasons. They may not think he fits the way they want to play, they may want funds to buy someone else, they may have too many strikers or player himself may want to go to get regular football. Spurs aren't short of strikers. I doubt it is because Redknapp does rate him, I believe that Harry has bought him twice - once for Portsmouth and again for Spurs.

Let's face it, Crouchie's done his time at Tottenham, they've got to redefine their Harry squad to get beyond 4th to 6th.

Crouchie's still got it believe me. In fact he's one who rarely disappoints (except for the headed goal-scoring ability you'd want him to have!). I hear he's an Rs fan too which is nice.

I could see him really getting into a swansong period at Loftus Road. He's a player who deserves the level of adoration he could find back at the Rs.
