Mate I don't think you're getting it. They're saying they can't provide police for your fans, not ours. They've done it for every game since we won the court case. It's politics. Last time a PL club came to town we caused no trouble but were having snooker balls chucked at us.
The policing is required to get away fans too and from the game safely, the more fans the bigger the operation. You can debate whether the police are being deliberately awkward or not, I have no interest in doing so though so you're on your own with that one.
So you make baseless allegations and then refuse to debate? Funnily enough we've just had what was going to be an early kick off pushed back to 3pm because of, shock horror, the good behaviour of our fans. And yet the same team have had there away allocation cut. I'll let you make your own mind up about why that might be.
Good behaviour of your fans ?? How about the vile chants at Dave Jones when Wednesday came to your dump ??
What allegation? I never said that you were badly behaved, you have a bit of a reputation though and as I don't keep up with all things Leeds I didn't know whether the police decided the game required too much resources and cut the away allocation with good reason or just on said reputation. I didn't want to keep discussing it because I'd already said what I wanted to and it's probably quite boring for everyone else to have to read through.
It was reported that the game time was changed because of both sets of fans behavour. Leeds can't take all the credit. Police were expecting trouble a week or so ago too with your game against Barnsley. Your fans were kept back after the game, true? That reputation is hard to shake. We'll let you make up your own mind about why that might be.
I've enjoyed the Leeds stories this week. So much bitterness from the Leeds fans. This one about our Lennon just popped up. I enjoyed it as much as the others. Lennon was sold on the cheap
Brown's not ****, he's just a spoiler. He's no Messi, by any means, but then he's not trying to be. Very effective Championship destroyer. Gerrard's not a fan, though: please log in to view this image
No, but then Brown's a very good player when compared to those at a lower level. Dangerous goalscorer at Sheffield United, hard worker, good tackler (when he wants to be) and I think he started off as a defender at youth level. Lawro's Prediction for Leeds United v Tottenham Hotspur (Sunday, 14:00 GMT) A few months ago I would have looked at this game and thought that Tottenham might not fancy it too much but they are made of sterner stuff now, and have got some strong characters. I don't know what team Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas will pick, but if it includes Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon then you would have to fancy them big style. But Leeds have had some decent results in the Cup in the last couple of years, beating Manchester United at Old Trafford in 2010 and taking Arsenal to a replay last season, so I would back them to take this tie to White Hart Lane. Lawro's prediction: Leeds United 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur (Tottenham to win the replay)
http://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic/182147-leeds-fans-blame-shifting/ ...there's even a pic of the hoardings being thrown at your fans...by your fans!
I think 3 - 0 win for Spurs. We've got too much for them, we're a consistent team and this will show in this cup game. Leeds - scummy club, scummy fans. My dad supports Leeds lol. (you will find quite a few around the 55 yo old mark in the south - gloryhunters!)
Friedel, Naughton, Caulker, Vertonghen, Assou-Ekotto, Huddlestone, Parker, Lennon, Bale, Sigurdsson & Dempsey Subs: Gomes, Walker, Townsend, Livermore, Dembele, Dawson & Obika Yep. Obika.
Good. He's earned it with his performances in the youth sides and we need an option there, even if he's not a long-term solution, by any means.
