Most people on this weekly thread give it to McShane every week and can hardly ever give a single reason why... You'd have to ban a lot of people from voting if people were excluded for talking bollocks! Also I never actually said Simpson was a better player than Fryatt, I criticised Matty's finishing all last season because it was shoddy but still said he was a good player, and I said Simpson was playing better than Fryatt ever had for us at the beginning of this season when he was doing really well. But that's me being a bit picky.
Mcshane never missed a tackle, nearly scored, created our best first half chance and turned defence into attack on at least 3 occasions bringing the ball out from his own half and feeding forwards, a good game in general not bettered by anyone else
You thought Proschwitz was rubbish? You must have been watching a different match to me. In other news, I thought Rosenior played far better in that position than he has previously, although not as good as Elmo. I thought most of the team played well and we were by far the better team. Just got unlucky that they attacked Bruce shortly after he was injured. I can't think of anyone who really had a bad match to be fair. Maybe Koren was a bit weak. Wasn't overly keen on OilyV either. His first touch is to knock the ball a metre away, he hangs onto it too long and then when he makes the pass he under hits it it. Entertaining game where the wrong team won as we are rubbish in front and around goal. Edit: Actually, Simpson was rubbish.
apart from a glaring error for the build up to the goal. ok 2 commendable saves, but he should have taken the ball off O'Briens feet before running around like a headless chicken to cause the confusion and the whole scoring opportunity. still looks like a Gulasci waiting to happen. First half he was shocking in flapping for crosses and instilling zero confidence for the defenders
I agree with this bloke. McShane seems to have rediscovered a bit of composure that he's lacked at various points in the past. On recent form, he's a competent defender at this level.
Where's our goal scoring Meyler gone? Is he playing too deep? And what's happened to Quinny? You could hardly get the ball off him now he just coughs it up! Macca Prozzy (he won every header) Brady
i think i should be, i was about to rag the 1st few people voting for prozzy, then noticed nearly everybody had so i must see different things..or maybe just expect a lot more from a championship striker then winning a few mainly misdirected unchallenged flick ons...
I was talking about Meyler. I agree with you on Jako, he's one of the worst keepers we've had in a few years IMO. He gets some praise for his diving saves but it's only because he takes so bloody long to move that it makes it look a good save. I agree with you to be honest. He didn't get into any impressive positions and his shooting from the two half-chances he had was poor.
1) Chester 2) McShane 3) Proschwitz Brady, Meyler and Quinn were ****ing awful, as they have been for the last 3. How did Meyler stay on the pitch, shouldn't have even had a look in after hist performances vs Wednesday and Peterbrough, even Oli was better than him.
As I said above. McShane gets almost ironic motm votes every week just for being McShane even if he's blatantly at fault for a goal when all the other defenders haven't cost us a goal. Meyler won more tackles yesterday than anyone yesterday. I saw it, you might not have done, or maybe I'm wrong, that's fine, it's all opinions. But at least I'm not just giving it to the same person every week as a silly little joke like many on here are doing with Macca.
You seriously need to visit an opticians, I'd reccomend Eyesite in Cottingham, they have very good frames and they'll stop you making ridiculous claims on here.

I tell you what, if Macca hasnt been the best player on our side in the last three matches then you are wrong mate. Hes stood out each game . Its about time people like you started to appreciate just how well he is playing.
do you actually go or do you spend all your time on the concourse with a pint in your hand - one thing you're right about is that he did stand out - he was crap - someone who doesnt show any interest - cant pass to his own team - wont tackle/ cant tackle and doesn't run for the ball is CRAP - couldn't really understand why we signed him - still cant - we could have had another £1.5 m to spend on a decent forward or even getting Elmo signed on
