http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ts-used-to-feeling-like-a-winner-8468437.html Thats one happy chappy, I bet when he signed he never thought that he'd become as famous or sought after as he has .The trick now is to keep him . http://news.yahoo.com/pfa-facebook-page-michu-huge-success-fans-digital-080234585.html?
This fella seems to be cut from a different mould regarding loyalty, so happy days. However if the right price came, in would/could HJ/the board turn it down? In a dream world yes, but this is football and if his form continues, we could be talking silly money. For now Michu is a Jack bastard, and he's gonna win at Wembley and get a 1st cap.
"My message to the Swansea supporters is I will stay here. The fans don't need to worry. I want to thank them for all their support. I'm very happy with them. I am a loyal person and I stay at clubs for quite a long period. I live in the present, but I have signed for four more years and I'm very happy here. I love the city, I love the supporters, I love the club. I'm very happy. I don't want to go to another team." Yet again I've had to change my pants.
While I'm landed that he seems grounded at happy at Swansea, I won't wet my pants just yet. We've heard similar 'loyalty' from one his fellow countrymen in the past so we'll just wait and see
He's here now so lets just enjoy his stay while we have him. Players are transient creatures so we shall see in the summer his commitment to us, if he continues like he is now we will be very hard pressed to keep him IMO
Thanks for sharing . Agreed, it makes a mockery of those that have left and shows leadership to those we would like to keep ... JDG, Ki, Ben, Chico, and so on .... It's becoming a long list and getting longer.
The question is, do we feel his sentiment is honest ? judging by what we have read about him the past i would say 100% that it is. He doesnt need to say anything but has chose to do so , time will tell and its a pretty sad state of affairs when us fans cannot beleive a word that Michu or Laudrup says due to the lies we have been told in the past from Brenden and Roberto. Its a shame, but hopefully these two will help the healing process
Isn't Michu giving money to one of his past clubs to help keep them going. Somebody that does that is genuine, loyal, and has values higher than that of pure money alone.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that he's happy and it's nice to hear. I just won't get over excited with it as maybe I would have in the past. Michu has shown loyalty to his previous clubs in the past so maybe he is here to see out his contract
