Parkes was superb, got to most things including a fantastic interception in the first half to halt a near certain goal from a break into the box. Thought JJ was a little subdued in the first half especially, something on his mind? We had our fair share of luck, a close penalty call for Rotherham in the first half, and Richards getting away with a Red card. Not meaning to be negative without giving the lad a fair crack of the whip, but never the less the new boy up front didnt impress me at all, to early to judge, but will be looking for more over the next 2 1/2 years!! The lad certainly has the build for it though. Loved the goal celabrations with Smithy jumping into the snow. Great to see Ellis get his goal, who said the younguns cant cut it? Great goal for JA but I didnt think he did much other than that today. All the above is saying it how I saw it, over all it was a great day out on the train and another 3 goals to give us back to back wins, from the very start you could see that their defence was fragile, yet their at the right end of the table, it cant be that hard in this league for a confident bunch, we are now looking just that, so as long as JJ does the right thing I see no reason to bring anyone else in at this moment in time, we will stay up quite comfortably if we carry on performing like this.
Congrats on making the trek SLSB - the New York Stadium looks like a nice ground. Good to see that weren't all that brilliant, yet still came out comfortable victors against a promotion-chasing club at their place. Also good that we had a resolute defence that seemed to give little away. What a difference a couple of months makes! Any idea where I can see Ellis' goal? There's no Football League Show tonight and it sounded like a cracker....
Cheers Blue I was sick as a parrot not making the Fleetwood game, so today was a consolation, I have been a little naughty with some of the things I mentioned above, but sometimes you have to be abit controversial to make debate, over all it was a great performance by us, not lots of quality but hard working and steadfast in the teams approach, they kept their shape well and performed for each other, a great finish by Ellis and in answer to your question I am sorry I have no ideal but it will be eye candy when you track it down.
i saw the goals on ssn. it showed our pen decision, their 2nd yellow = red card decision, then our 2nd and 3rd goals. nothing else was shown. the pen decision went very fast so it was hard to tell. o'toole crossed in the free kick and didnt look like brunt was going to get it anyway but he went down like he was pushed. it looked harsh but it was a very quick view and was hard to tell. it didnt show claude davies 1st yellow, but showed the 2nd and richards knocked teh ball past him on edge of teh box. davies went down to his knee and stuck his other leg out and richards went flying. again went so quick and the angle was hard to see if contact was made. but it was then definately a 2nd yellow for sure. harrisons goal sounded amazing on the radio but it wasnt nothing special. he was very lucky. as he ran with the ball it should of got cleared several times but he bundled his way through. about time we got some luck though. anyinsah was a powerful low drill on a slight angle. keeper should have done better but no complaints from me. thanks for the report SoLong
CJS yeah in all fairness the Ellis goal was exactly how you called it, their defence just fell apart for the goal, but the lad still had to put it in the back of the net, I do wonder if one day we will be talking about that debut goal and he turns out another Zimora or Sinclair etc, hopefully we might come out with a little more to show for it though, who knows?

well played the gas, an excellent away win following the midweek win. well done gas supporters who arrived early and it was reported helped clear the pitch. a credit to supporters everywhere. onwards and upwards the gas.
Can confirm that some of our fans did indeed help with the snow clearing, the Rotherham chairman publically thanked all fans for their help including Bristol Rovers fans
