At what point did I say you annoyed me ? It takes a hell of a lot more than than that so you obviously know nothing about me. And then to be childish enough to change my name is just pathetic . I actually think you are a fool and very far from the God of war, thunder and strength that you take your name from, and I'm still laughing at you not upset at all .
I don't comment very often these days but i stopped doing so for the reasons quoted by the OP. The final straw came for me when a poster on a different club's board saw fit to insult my dead mother. Football banter is one thing but spineless keyboard warriors without a brain cell to call their own are another.
No angel, you've used all your upset on your football team haven't you? None left for anything else. Oh,hello Bogs.
Nope, wrong again, no upset in my life at all, in fact I've had a brilliant afternoon, best one for ages , and my team are still 3rd in the league, .
This season really has pushed me to the limit, not just football but Terry saga, Clattenburg saga etc. I swore after we were cheated against Man U and the public outcry re: Mikel/Clattenburg and condemnation of the club despite rules justifying our actions that I'd never watch a PL game again. I despise the PL and everything it stands for but then I had a change of heart and said to myself, I'm not going to let these upper class toffs push their agenda and win. I find myself increasingly only able to relate to fans outside the top 4, all the Chelsea fans on here are great and all proper but I find myself having increasingly less in common with your average Chelsea fan and don't even go there with Arsenal or Man Utd.
I have nothing in common with most Chelsea fans. I would probably be classed as an 'upper class toff' to use your words, but surely the one thing you have in common with Chelsea fans is Chelsea! Never have I been so outraged with this sport and the media society that surrounds it such as this season, and similarly, never have I been so annoyed with Chelsea as a club, but I'm still a massive fan. Blue to the end mate. KTBFFH. **** the haters.
Heavens above Chelsea have 200m fans worldwide, from Lord Coe to plebs like me! The club is a religion as far as I'm concerned and all are welcomed to worship the mighty Blues!
sometimes I think I preferred it when we were mediocre, don't get me wrong very grateful for what's happened to our club and enjoyed 90% of the last 10 years but most fun I ever had as a Chelsea fan was 96-03, coincidentally the years Zola wore our shirt!
Same, I used to moan and moan about those days and the inconsistency, snatching defeat from jaws of victory etc but id give anything to have those days back. The days where we came under less media scrutiny, had more real fans and a better atmosphere. The only downside was the inability to beat Arsenal but those were seriously good times. I've loved the last 10 years or so but it's not just the same when there is a level of expectation to win. 10 years ago losing 3-1 to West Ham or 2-0 at home to Swansea would have been expected and accepted because that's standard Chelsea but now were expected to win every game and the press drag our name through the gutter every week out of inane jealousy that we've challenged their old boys network of elite teams that have dominated English Football since World War 2
I loved it back then - it was when I was a kid, right at the start of my Chelsea days. The magic was there. Sadly I don't think it's only Chelsea that's changed, I think it's the whole sport as a whole. It's gone downhill, no doubt about that.
