...dont know why i bother sometimes tbh. what a dreadful 'performance' if you could call it that.

    THE GAME

First half we actually did ok, had plenty of the ball but did nothing with it and struggled to break them down - even had a goal disallowed for offside. But we shot ourselves in the foot with two disgraceful and comical pieces of defending. Somehow Traore managed to score an own goal from a poor corner kick that barely reached the six yard area - cue Traore slicing it into the top corner. Then, not to be out done up step Ferdinand to duck from a long ball to see their player round him and score. Shambolic defending left us 2-0 down when we had most of the possession. But no-one was panicking too much at HT as an early goal for us could see things change in the second half.

Well it didnt, they quickly scored goals three and four and pretty much soaked everything else up. Despite possession we created little and were making mistakes all over the park. These are players who HR have said have been banging on his door to let them play and they go and perform like that. We got two goals back, but dont let that hide what a truly pathetic and woeful attempt at a performance - and in front of 17k.

    THE RATINGS

GREEN - 4 - how he let in traores own goal i will never know as it was at the near post. not a commanding performance at all either.

TRAORE - 4 - awful own goal and constantly giving the ball away but made two nice runs which boosted his score.

FERDINAND - 2.5 - shocking, just shocking. awful duck to miss heading a long ball and also sliced a simple clearance in the second half. just two of many many errors. looks shot of confidence, and no wonder.

BEN HAIM - 3.5 - not much better overall tbh - didnt win enough headers and when he did they mostly fell to MK dons players. Got given the run around.

FABIO - 4 - got a lucky goal but not great tbh - crosses into the box were poor and like everyone else gave the ball away easily.

GRANERO - 3 - ok in the first half as he saw alot of the ball but was trying to do too much 'pretty' stuff. went missing in the second half as the going got tough. constantly giving possession away. did nothing with the ball when he had it though.

FAURLIN - 3 - poor. what has happened to him. passing was ok in first half but poor in second and not commanding the central midfield area.

PARK - 2.5 - can go back to where he came from as far as im concerned. how much is this prat getting paid? yet another poor error strewn performance if you can call him that. all these korean fans saying he is the best and we will be down without him are quite frankly deluded and living on another planet. a shocking attempt at a footballer if i have ever seen one. appears to work hard but in actual fact trying to make up for a poor pass or running around like a headless chicken. i think i said after the swansea game (the first game) that i didnt rate him, and unfortunately i have seen nothing to say otherwise.

MACKIE - 3 - poor game and missed a couple of very good half chances. i normally support mackie for his effort and he did show some today but overall a very poor day. passing poor and generally chasing shadows most of the day.

BOTHROYD - 4 - lots of effort and desire to win balls but ultimately just not good enough. several poor passes though and didnt create an awful lot. albeit without much support.

CAMPBELL - 3.5 - some (and me included) wanted him back as we believed he could make the difference, but on this showing there isnt much chance im afraid. just not with it today. again no decent support so its difficult but didnt do a great deal of note tbh.

    SUBS:

ZAMORA - 4 - came on and put a decent effort in and won a couple of headers to set up chances, and set up one of the goals as well, but we cant expect alot from him tbh.

    THE FINAL WORD

Well HR summed it up perfectly - a disgrace. For players who want to get into the side, and who want to impress the manager, you would think a game v League One opposition would provide the perfect platform. Thats not to say its going to be easy, far from it. But even a decent performance you would expect us to win with. But we were awful all over the park - every single one of them. I am probably being generous with those scores but its so difficult to distinguish between players as collectively they were a utter shambles.

Its so worrying that that was our 2nd team - so any injuries to the first team members and we have to put them in. In particular Ferdinand and Park were utterly useless, and Park deserved to be booed off when Zamora came on for him. It makes me so angry to see the Korean fans slating our true die hard fans for stating the truth about Park. WHERE THE HELL WERE THEY WHEN WE WERE NOT IN THE PL! They can take their support and Park with them and shut the bloody door on your way out.

As you can tell I am furious with that display. Shows such a lack of professionalism, respect, and desire for themselves, the fans the club, and MK Dons (who did well by the way).

We really do need to buy players as this lot quite clearly are not up to the task. What a way to end an unbeaten run. My god.

I share your anger mate. I don't quite agree about Ben Haim who I thought was ok, but all in all, that was a disgrace!

I thought Ben Haim had a good game considering he has only played twice in god know how long he look ok on the ball and was committed in the challenge which is better than a lot of them. I though Zamora looked pretty good when he came on and I think he has a very big part to play for the rest of the season all we need to do is get him fit and keep him fit.

Agree, as others have said I will excuse Zamora as he hasnt played for ages, and was just getting game time.

Ben Haim was better than AF, but not by much imo. Just didnt do enough to keep them out in my book.

All those talking about our 25 man squad should now know we really only have about 15 players worthy of that squad, we really are up to our necks in the brown stuff...

With the exception of Mackie and Zamora, the rest of team if they were wondering why they are not first pick for premier league matches have just answered the question themselves.

Embarrassed to be an rrrrrs fan today and embarrassed for all the fans who went to the game. Absolute disgrace to the shirt. 4-0 down at home....f*** me. The fact that we could swap the lot of them for the Mk dons team, have a better team and slash 90% of our wage bill.....reason enough to f*** the lot of them off in the summer.

    THE RATINGS

GREEN - 5 shots and 4 goals let in, he made one save in the 83 mins I was there

TRAORE - Did ok apart from the OG but he kept on floating crosses instead of drilling them low

FERDINAND - Worst CB performance ive ever seen

BEN HAIM - Has the position sense of a woman without GPS.

FABIO - I thought he was our best player

GRANERO - tried hard but had zero pace

FAURLIN - Same as Granero, they had no pace and neither of them got forward even at 0-2

PARK - Useless, was booed off

MACKIE - Looked like he needed a rest, lost a yard and fell over rather than shoot more than once

BOTHROYD Goal and an assist, cant really argue with that.

CAMPBELL - made loads of runs in behind their back 4 but no one saw them.

The pitch looked really hard, dry and bumpy. Their 3rd was a mile offside and both linos appeared to guess every decision.

Harry could have saved a lot of time and money this week by looking at players in the 1st Div,MK Dons wouldnt have been a bad place to start looking.

Many thanks, 'JUDO' for your efforts.
These reports are greatly appreciated especially from those of us, who are half way around the world, who can't watch the game and rely on people such as yourself to give a precise and informative report.
........... and to the 'putz' who posted the 'racists rant' ............. you are about as inviting as a fart in an elevator.
    Cheers,
    Aussie
