I cannot believe fans say he has lost it,today was as good as any he has played. He has read the game well,he has covered fontaine numerous times,put the killer pass through to Anderson to feed Stead for his goal. I have said countless times,he is head and shoulders our best central defender,he should have been playing more games than he has this season. If we had eleven players with his attitude and commitement i think we would not be in the mess we are. Just hope he can play Tuesday first name on the team sheet for me. Seven games to the record of all time record for BCFC on todays showing he will fly past it.
Well said Red....Louis Carey was superb in everything he did today, not just our best defender but our best player, give him another years contract, the man is brilliant.....will always stop & have a chat with you, he's Mr Bristol City & soon to overtake the late great John Atyeo, the man deserves it.
Yes I've been quite sceptical about his ability to perform consistently at Championship level but listening to the commentary today, I was impressed with the number of times that he was mentioned with clearing headers and tackles to break up atacking play by Ipswich. Well done Louis.
