wtf ? I thought the Malays were supposed be the benefactors here, they've increased their threefold by the looks of things, what kind of investors are they ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-east-wales-21198131
Cardiff will go into the prem leaugue £100m in debt,Swans lost £11m in the promotion season and look how well run we are ! so they will go into the prem 100m down and they will pay increased wages and sign players, if they dont sign players they are ****ed and straight back down, so there will need to be further investment. VT is charging 7% intrest on all loans to cardiff so he has given hem **** all !! The funniest comedy classic of all time here is the fact the admin costs have gone up £3m quid !! in other words all the people with their nose in the trough are giving themselves more cash, i seriously worry for the franchaise club. Cardiff Red Dragons - The Welsh Porthsmouth . ....
KJ, i think promotion is certain this year unfortunatly! Not even they can fook it up from where they are now...can they? The amount of francise fans that think the club is in safe hands is quite staggering really, look at the mess Bolton got into while having sustained prem football, they are beleived to have come down with a £100m debt !! Cardiff are going up with a £100m debt .. All we said about them over the years is true, all fur coat and no knickers are cerdiff red dragons
Quote Keith Morgan, a Cardiff City fan and director of Mazars accountancy firm, said the £13.6m loss was worrying, but the club's overall debt of just over £83m was not as serious as it first appeared. The directors said in their report: "The club continues to face the challenging financial environment presented by the Championship competition, as illustrated by the operating loss year-on-year, despite significant turnover growth - these gains being absorbed by increased direct football costs. Well if the directors think it's challenging in the Championship how are they going to cope with new players to bring in and the wages that goes with it. Never mind it's the promised land where there's nothing but sweetness & honey.
The prem will push you further into Debt. Look at Portsmouth! Bolton is another one, a club everyone thought was on a solid footing !!
