having players that can already play together, coupled with the fact that the other ex leeds players have improved through being at NCFC, i think he'd be a good signing and an improvement on most of the strikers at the club. I'm confident he'd bring something positive to the club.
Coutinho has agreed a move to Liverpool, when Southampton were apparently very interested, I suppose that's a good thing.
We were missing some key players today. Let's see what this week brings we need some firepower and some midfielders who can string some passes together.
Sorry, that team today all have Prem experience and I would expect them finish mid championship if they played together every week. Still giant-killing of epic proportions, bearing that in mind.
I think that when their contracts run down they will just not be renewed, at least we will save their wages. Overhaul needed.
Get Kane a taxi back to spurs, jackson (sorry he just isnt good enough) obe to wolves, morrison can go.to the moon, surman can **** off anywhere he is so bad, barnett? dont care where he goes just dont want him at norwich... sorry all but the reality is these players are not premier league standard and if we are going to survive this year we need better! shame we have a week and no money to get better (at least a striker to play with those who are good enough will be a start but im losingbhope there too!)
Well hughton has confirmed were in interested in old winkle! I think there's no doubt now we need to spend big on a striker!
All players who have given there all at City and helped us get into the Premier League and survive. Let's not be too critical towards players who have contributed to our last few successful seasons. Yes, we've outgrown a few of them and it may be there time to go but your strong negative comments are pretty harsh in my opinion. P.S I know Kane doesn't really apply to that.
Perhaps it is harsh but of all those names id day jackson is the only one who has truely given his all for norwich but the only time he has ever been effective (a legend for this purple patch I conceed) was the end of our promotion to prem season. Morrison has helped last season with goals but is lazy, surman is lazy, slow, weak and gives the ball away, barnett is clumsy, cant read the game at all and is generally just rubbish, so with this in mind I would shift them all asap (obviously providing we get replacements for.moro and jackson)
I agree, those players are probably not good enough for us anymore. But we should wish them all the best, and hope they get a good move. Anyway, anyone checked out all the doommongers on twitter? I know it's an awful result but Norwich fans don't half turn on players and McNally extremely quickly.
Have no problem with McNally but some of players attitudes have not been satisfactory in my opinion recently. Bedford has made some fair points with the players that I would get rid of however I can't see their future being decided until summer, with the exception of Jackson & Ward who I think will be the only players to leave.
I just think we have to remember the contribution the players have made over the last three successful years, I agree they're probably not good enough. I would just wish them all the best rather than not care who they go to.
Will always remember those three years but at the same time I want to be realistic sentiment will get us nowhere. Once they leave I doubt they'll be looking out for our club just focusing on their current club and collecting their weekly wages, they are mercenaries after all there is no binding loyalties to the club like we all have. We need to dig deep and think wisely about which players we're going to get in. Invest in quality and replace with quality we are not a Championship outfit so the players of those standards need to replaced.
