So far so good for our game with Arsenal on Wednesday, Brighton giving them a go and Wenger might need to use some of the bigger names ( Wilshere and Walcott coming on as I type).

 

Norwich have just fallen behind to Luton Town. Scott Rendell with the first goal of the game.

The Inverness/Hearts game involving Danny Wilson & Michael N'Goo has finished 1-1 after 90 minutes.

Will go to extra-time and potentially penalties! Hearts are down to 10 men though so they have a lot to do.

N'Goo has buried his penalty for Hearts.

Very good penalty. Nice & calm and he puts it away. Sends the 'keeper the wrong way.

 

Hearts have done it!

They have reached the final of the Scottish League Cup. Beaten Inverness Caledonian Thistle 5-4 on penalties.

Great impact for N'Goo on his debut. Got the Hearts goal to bring it back to 1-1 and he put his penalty away in the shoot-out.

 

Really Pleased for Ngoo.

He is the one player from the reserves who has not had an opportunity at all for the first team this year and really should have done.

He is a monster with very tricky feet, very hard to get the ball off, but not just with his back to the defender, but running at a defender too.

Great debut for him for Hearts.

 

Ill never forget the goal he set up for Adebayor in the Champions league quarter final a few years back. Ran clean through our whole team it seemed.

Thank goodness for Sami, fernando, Stevie G and Ryan Babel that day.... Was a great match, and that goal created by Theo nearly sunk me...lol

 

Not sure about Ngoo.
Looks good in the youth team where against people his own age he is far superior physically which allows him to stand out. Moving into Men's football his main advantage will go and not sure he has what it takes at the moment to make the step up in the Premiership or Championship. He's the type of player that will peak in his late 20's though when he has worked out how to use his body and strength. In that respect could be a bit like Carlton Cole..

Doubt he'll make it at Liverpool though,

 

Im not sure he is going to fit in with BR's style of play to be fair, will be interesting to see how he does at Hearts, (his first experience of mens football.)

As a massive fan of watching the U21s I hate saying goodbye to some of the talent we produce, but guess it has to happen.

Just hope the guy makes a massive impact so if he is noto to satay with us he gets an opportunity somewhere good and we get seome money!!

 

Brentford are more than holding their own against Chelsea at the moment.

If they were to lose this I wonder if Rafa would last until the end of the season.
