Decided to leave

I have decided that I am going to leave not 606 indefinitely at the end of the current transfer window.

This is partly down to my health. Next Friday will arguably be the most important day of life in terms of my health which will cause a fair bit of strain on me.

I have absolutely no problem with Dave and Maestro as mods they do an excellent job.

I understand that people will have varying opinions on different topics such as who would be a good striker to sign or whether Lee Camp is a good signing.

My issue though is people understanding these differing opinions.

Take for example the ball-boygate incident. I'm still sure that there is a good chance Hazard made contact with the ball-boy but there's a chance he didn't - it's inconclusive.

Dave had a differing opinion and put my point down in a sensible way. However Munky's rejection of my opinion was careless and slightly rude.

The point of these boards is to have reasonable debate, not be rude to them when they have a different view.

This is only a tiny issue and I will emphasise again that I have no problem with Dave and Maestro. But DHCanary being promoted to a mod without warning was a bit of a surprise. I have nothing against DHCanary and I'm sure he would be a great mod, but how about giving others a chance to volunteer to be a mod and even a vote? I also found YellowLittle's response to this unnecessary.

I understand that this post may be a bit of an overreaction and I'm being rather sensitive and that's part of the reason why I feel it's best I leave. I absolutely ****ting myself about the result of next week's doctor's appointment. If you follow me on twitter you may know what's going on.

At the end of the transfer window I will be logging out. But I may return if there is a major news event regarding Norwich.

I only came back because of all the football news and the fact my doctor's appointment was delayed a week because of the snow!

I agree that this is a board for people to post their views as to what is going on with the Canaries and from what I've seen, that is exactly what happens most of the time. There is no need to abuse your fellow posters - we all support the same team for goodness sake.

Obviously there is nothing in this world more important than health. I hope everything is positive for you. And you just have to try and find some time to contribute once again. Everybody's opinion is important. Just like everybody's season ticket is important tyo the club, contributors are important for the continuation of the site. ATB.

 

On the whole most people on here are pretty good, there are those who get my back up sometimes with their sanctimonious posts. Where is Superman BTW he seems to have disappeared altogether ?

 

Just a quick note to say I hope things improve for you Wonky but as some others may know I also have made the same decision to leave the forum. Only one or two spoill it , yet I still respect their views.

We are all Canaries and have differing views ( non more than after the latest shambles ),but cannot abide intolerance any more on here of a different view.

Yet another 'look at me thread'. I have never understood why anybody would feel the need for these attention seeking threads on an internet forum, because lets be honest, that's exactly what it is. You are aren't famous, nobody is going to be genuinely upset that you are leaving and the forum will carry on as if you never existed. If people are going to go, just go.

Now on the health front, I really wish you the best of luck and get the news that you are looking for
