Hi PompeyLapras,

I went to see Les Mis at the cinema last week, and thought it was excellent. Bit unsure of the vocals at first, but after 5 mins was totally smitten. The cinematography was truly breathtaking, and the casting superb. Have to admit to a few tears at the end!

I have seen the show in London twice before, and although the film is good, nothing can beat a live theatre performance. the cinema can show a much wider scale, but the theatre is very close and intense.

Aw, I didn't cry at the end but the ending was very moving and inspirational when there were thousands of people manning the barricades including the people who had died. It almost made me want to become a Republican.

I'd definitely like to see the theatre show. But then there's loads of shows I'd like to see.... Wicked, Avenue Q, etc.

Watch it Steinberg, or I'll go through your posts disliking them all again.

Though granted, that was a lot more fun when you got notifications about it.

Why did the notifications stop happening anyway? I bet that was your fault. They realised Mr. Nice would obviously abuse it and took it away. You're why we can't have nice things.

I've not even had a warning since my ban (unless I'm forgetting one), I'm very much a changed man <3

EDIT: That's not true, but I've only been told off once, so I'm basically a changed man.

He didn't get owned, Alex Jones just got angry and started shouting about 1776. It was the worst attempt at a rational argument I've ever seen, and I can't even fault Piers for that (try as I might)

No one gets "owned" by anyone in these things. They just shout over each other and don't listen to each other. Ever watch Bill O'Reilly? Jesus...

He did get owned. Alex Jones started ranting and raving because he only had a 15min slot to say everything he wanted to say. And he was right with 90% of the stuff he said. "1776 will commence again if you try to take away our guns!!" haha loved that part, but it is true. Ron Paul, even said that. What a man he is as well. He'll never be president, unfortunately.

I'm not a fan of guns, but I agree that the government can't just be the only one's with the guns, but also people in the US shouldn't be able to obtain semi-automatic machine guns with such facility, that is bad. The thing is, Piers Morgan is behind the funding of suicide pills that are available to depressed people who take them and go on to take their own life and the lives of other people, innocent people. Piers Morgan never mentions this, does he?

The fact is, the overall crime rate goes up massively once you take guns away. It happened in the UK (police state) and Australia. The gun crime rate went down, but the overall crime rate went up.

You know that Alex Jones was being assaulted by people before he got on the stage at CNN? Crazy world now, quite scary at times really.

If that was the first time you say Alex Jones, then you might think he is a crazy hill billy who loves guns, but he isn't like that at all, he is a very, very smart guy, very nice, ambitious and kind. He just doesn't like what is going on in the world.

The only other thing of Alex Jones I know is that he's a big name in the Sandy Hook conspiracy theories, so yeah he's not winning me over.

What do you mean about the government having guns? It's not like you see Obama or Biden walking around with an assault rifle. The only people with guns should be the military, police and security.

I'm not going to deny that Morgan has a lot of personality flaws. He's a dick. But Alex Jones, nice as he may be, is a paranoid nut job.

Also 9/11 and the Oklahoma City bombing. Basically every massive national tragedy couldn't possibly have happened unless the government was behind it. It's blatant paranoia, especially considering we know exactly who was responsible for all three.

Then, I'm sorry to say, your participation in this debate is over then.

With respect mate, I'm not too bothered. Every debate with you seems to consist of you calling people blind or idiots if they don't believe whatever paranoid conspiracy or anti-government argument is flavour of the month with you at any moment.

Besides, if your main justification behind thinkinh he "owned" Piers is "if you knew who he was you'd agree", I can't help but feel his argument wasn't too compelling.
