All the twitter ITKs saying Coutinho is close. ...Again Hope it does come off. This guy has serious potential. Even the way he uses his body on the ball - he turns and moves, is agile, sharp, can play round the corner... very much like Suarez, who often gets into such good dribbling/shooting positions because he evades his marker before the ball is at his feet. Two footed, ambitious, forward thinking, creative... can (and does) take set pieces... Just needs to work on his strength and finishing and he could be a great asset. Even still he'd be very useful against teams like Stoke, which we need to open up - and indeed in big games when we need to play fast, technical football with players who can retain the ball.
They say the best thing about him is when he runs at you with the ball, you just don't know where he is going, and that he moves as fast with the ball as without. Again, potential is there I think he can fulfill it with our style.
I think the important question here is, does he stand up or sit down to wipe...? PS...the real question is, does he know what he's going to do?
The power of Ian Ayre's biro! one wavw of that and hes got the fee reduced from 13M Euros to 10M.. Can he do the same thing for the remainder of my mortgage?
If he were to join - Would we see a change in formation? Something like -Gerrard-Lucas-Henderson- -----------Coutiniho----------- ----Sturridge-----Suarez----- Or does Coutiniho move on the wing, or perhaps comes in for Henderson?
I think Coutinho and Suarez would be either side of Sturridge. I know I have moaned about this potential signing but that front three looks quite tasty n paper
Well 35 on Carroll - i'm sure he wouldn't bat an eyelid at your mortgag! "Just pay it in one lump sum" he will say.
To be honest, I think we got off lightly when we bought AC, imagine how much more we'd have to pay if he had a 1980s Chris Waddle Diamond Lights Mullet?
