Tancredi Palmeri ‏@tancredipalmeri Huge news re Coutinho. I will report it live in studio at 11.15pm on @talkSPORT
22:49 GMT:The Guardian report that Liverpool have submitted a third and final offer for Inter Milan's Philippe Coutinho. The Reds have again offered around £8 million for the 20-year-old, a fee that Inter rejected earlier this week, but their latest bid increases the amount paid up front.
I am liking the fact that we are refusing to budge but at the same time, it concerns me that we can be so naive as to think restructuring the way we offer to pay will seal the deal when another club as reportedly offered more Edit:yes, I also realise that believing the 'other club' reports could also be deemed naive
Lol: the Italian way of transfer bargaining! £8m! No £8 million No Eight million pounds Oh go on then!
Think its more like " Do you want this 6 inch right now , or a 12 inch but 4 inches for three day?" Make sense?
