    Why replace a goalscorer with so one who only holds up the ball? As much as I love stead but giving 100% and holding up the ball hasn't done nothing for us all season. Davies upfront with baldock gives us more of a chance of scoring stead and someone else gives us less of a chance

    As much as i like Davies,i think there is a underlying injury causing problems,i do wonder if he could go a full game.I do think us as fans are not getting the truth why Davies has not featured on a regular basis.
    Just a hunch but i think something is not quite right there shiny<confused>

    Stead holds the ball up well and has a fantastic turn on him alongside Baldock the little and large show tomorrow.

    If no-one holds the ball up front, it just comes back to our defence very rapidly. We have to start playing matches in the middle and final 1/3 rd of the pitch instead of in our own penalty area.

    My preferred team is;

    Heaton;
    Foster Maloney Nyatanga Cunningham
    Anderson Kelly Skuse Bryan
    Stead or Taylor Baldock.

    But it won't be SOD's choice!

    Stead holds the ball?? I must be watching different games...

    Not to mention he wins about 1/4 headers each game..

    Are we destined for 3 points tomorrow....?

    As long as we put in 100% effort and dont concede the customary 4 or more goals at home then I guess we should consider it progress of sorts ....

    +1 anyway what is this holds the ball up? he doesn't as soon as he gets it he passes the ball. Would much rather have davies and baldock upfront so we don't resort to hoofing the ball.

    For me it's got to be:

    Heaton
    Moloney Nyatanga Fontaine Cunningham
    Kelly Skuse Anderson
    Baldock Stead Davies

    Our defense has been ****, so there's no point propping up **** with more ****. Kelly and Skuse can help at the back but I'd like to see Anderson pushing forward and providing for a front three of Baldock, Stead and Davies. At least one of those three should be able to knock a couple of goals in.

    Nyatanga? Would be a hell of a risk playing him out of position which is something SoD doesn't want to do. Can see carey playing most games unless either we buy a new RCB or we play Moloney there. Be interesting to see tomorrows team. Also staying on topic with Louis if he does play Saturday cant see him playing again on Tuesday night so maybe we might see a new CB sooner than we think. Fingers crossed

    I have no idea either, I think for a big forward he gets pushed off the ball regularly Taylor holds the ball up wins more headers and panics their defence more. But just can't seem to face the correct way and shoot on target, he's young and hopefully improve.

    Stead does look like he chases and hurries players down so we all think he's great, but how many times do these chases and hassling result in us getting the ball?

    And my team is the same as Wiz's

    --------------Heaton-------------------------
    Moloney - Carey - Fontaine - Cunningham
    Kelly - Anderson - Skuse - Bryan
    ------------ Baldock - Davies--------------

    Maybe swap Carey with Bates <ok>

    Bates has been ill in bed all week so will not be anywhere near Ashton Gate tomorrow.
    Agree with your team but as I think LC is past it, I'd rather have Foster at RB and Moloney at RCB,
