How can someone have more rep points than posts, just wondering. I thought you get rep for a good post.

 

So what do you actually do with the rep? Can you sell it somewhere ?

 

I was pondering the same issue. For some reason - I have no idea why - my rep thing has gone up to 9?? I've noticed on the toon board done have hundreds of rep points??

 

Rep whores. Some boars have threads where they give out rep but I don't see the point

 

Could you not introduce a Green Shield Stamp Scheme?

A good poster should receive a toaster?

Gift vouchers ? Birthdays?

A LED clock radio for Swords who has to be the poster on this board

 

Simple answer - post in the Rep related thread on the Toon board and get rep points such as myself and gimmethickerhoops.

If you click on 'Control Panel' at the top you can see who has given you rep.

Think we should start our own - "R's Rep Revolution".

Nothing, just level up and increase your points total.

 

northolt did try to open a rep thread a long time ago but people were not really bothered or did not understand it
at the end of the day it does not mean anything but just nice to give yourselves an extra challenge

Ignore Secret he's on a one man mission. Gimmethickerhoops has got more than me in a shorter space of time, so does that mean he has 2 accounts as well? It shows you know **** all about rep just like your ITK skills or lack of them! You can't keep giving one person rep (once a week IRC) as you have to spread it around.

 

Completely lost me. If I say Chelsum are vile, vulgar and detestable, do I get any rep points?
