The beauty of the internet eh! All it takes these days is for someonr to pass comment on a subject, and in no time at all it has gone viral...personally I would be shocked if this one was true, and would certainly have mixed feelings towards it.

Why? There's no need for anything like that. It's a forum for people to debate rumours and so on, that's what is happening here.

I hope you're right Albert. He's not the player he was.

I never want to see him in red and white stripes ever again. However I do think he'd look good in black and white :)

not sure if I would want him

seeems to of declined since he left us

MoN doesn't have a reputation of playing 4/4/2 so I don't see were he would fit in, certainly wouldn't start him ahead of Fletcher so unless he is coming to compete for the Number 9 spot with Fletcher then no tar from me.

rather spend the money on a big powerful, goal scoring target man like Bent's current team mate Benteke

He should have a nail file shoved down his jappa & a wood rasp up his rectum, loathsome ****.

    Don't want him back. EVER.

Hope his career goes into total freefall & Cleator Moor Celtic are the only club to offer the greedy bastard a job.

Jimmy Savile was good at fixing things but would you want that **** back if your kitchen door came unhinged?

I can't believe some people would actually sanction this deal as acceptable, the guy treated your club as if it were a ****ty little dump that he'd finished wiping his arse on and made out as if he was going to play out his days at Santiago Bernabeu.

One of the bling mob, with Defoe, Lennon & Young I'd fill each and every one of these in one by one if I could then go and weigh in their teeth at the local scrap dealer.

If he had stayed with us he could have been a legend and record goalscorer imo. In 10 or 20 years time, he would have been one of the most talked about players of all time with over 150 goals imo, both from NE football perspective, EPL strikers in general and as importantly for him, England.

Instead he will be completely forgotten.

I think that's the most fitting epitaph for this vain, egotistical twat to have to endure till his dying day.

He will be a ****ing nobody.:)

Wouldn't it be funny as **** if we signed him back and just hoyed him on the bench? Or in the ressies. Would only use half of one year of the 3 year sponsorship, and we'd all get to point at him and piss ourselves.

Hope Ellis reads this, and realizes the beauty of this idea.
