Just got home, as soon as I saw that, I thought Nigel. Why else sack Grayson, unless you'd found a little gem had just come avalible & was willing to talk. Saying that, if Nigel waits he will pick up a bigger club, but on the other hand I could see him doing well there. Just have to ship Gobern out again!

Sounds like Sissoko has signed with Newcastle. They should be much-improved defensively...still an open question whether they can score goals, though.
I see Coloccini has decided to stay at Newcastle until the end of the season having previously asked to leave in Jaunuary. May not have been in the best form this season but still a boost for the Toon.
Speaking of Newcastle, they've just signed another Frenchman, Moussa Sissoko. They're really going for it in this transfer window aren't they? How much have they spent now? 6.5 year contract as well! Never heard of such a long contract for a player. Hope they know what they're doing!
True enough. I would have expected them to survive even without bringing in the players they have though. Cabaye back is massive for them. The main reason I'm confident they'll stay up is that there are at least 3 worse teams than them.
