Aye. Semis. Everyone loves 'em, eh? I'm not going on Sunday - I've got a prior engagement and won't even get to see it on telly (****ing wife ). I will get a lifetime of dog's abuse if we lose this - and I'm half expecting to. Whilst staying in the CL for as long as we already have, winning a treble is a bit of a slim possibility. We'll win the league, I'm sure and we're in with a great shout of getting the Scottish Cup but there's quite often one tournament where you fall (hasn't happened to us yet, this year, but there you go ). If St Mirren get to the final, it could be the biggest game of their season. They have a decent midfield and that Goncalves boy is supposed to be playing for them on Sunday - dunno if he'll be paired with Thompson, I suspect one will replace the other on the 60 minute mark. St Mirren had the chance to leapfrog Hearts last week and blew it. They're not in the best form right now, etc etc. ...but I'm prepared for the worst. Kelvin Wilson has only played at Hampden twice - and we've lost both games - our record at Hampden isn't that great recently. I'm more than prepared to swallow my words if we blast them but I think it'll be a close affair - this is a big game for St Mirren and it's the tournament that we're most likely to take our eye off the ball for.
The league cup is ****e. Proper ****e and is only good if we win it. Derry is filled with Scotch this weekend so should be good craic.
I like the league cup , it's the most important trophy if you want to win the treble . Remember the good old days of the skol cup and it was all done by the end of October . We hold a world record 14 consecutive league cup finals in the 70's ( don't tell anyone we only won half of them )
Looking forward to it, a trophy is a trophy after all even if it's tainted like every other trophy we've won since last year Timmy.
Pud doing well keeping people like robot boy on the topic. I would be a bit worried about Sunday, I think we might not score in the first half hour and then we might get all tensed up just like we did in Hampden last year and then the match could go either way. Hopefully I am wrong but I am worried.

Familiar Hampden pishness so far. StMirren well worth it so far. Celtic picking up the pace in the time it has taken me to write this
Woeful. He is running up blind alleys too. He's been generally good in other games. Just not today and he's not the only one. Mjallby the second Swede to use bad language in an interview on bbc
