How did he get on for the 30 minutes he played in the Stoke game?

Any rumours of who we may be going for before the window closes?

Hardly touched the ball really, needs some game time to get up to speed, but looks quick and very strong, and that strength will really set him apart from Dyer & Pablo. Think we probably won't see the best from him for a few weeks.

Not heard anything about other transfers, but I think ML is keeping it very hush hush, best thing is that apart from a stiker I think we're actually quite well placed in terms of squad depth. Injuries to Ki (if bad) & Augustien might be a problem, but I wouldn't be surprised if Lee Lucus suddenly steps up or something...

With Jazz going to Palace, I presume that Ki is ok.

He had a chance right at the end of the a game to make it four but I think he had a rush of blood with his shot and put the ball out for a throw ,right foot shot across the mouth of the goal where a left foot effort could have at least tested the keeper , other than that he didn't stand out but give him time to settle in and then judge imo

He had some opportunities to show his skills one vs one, but he never tried. Always used a pass backwards instead. He gave me no good impression, what he did everybody could have done but it was his first 30 mins and by all means not enough time to evaluate him. He might be the real deal but didn't show it. On the other hand he must be cos Sir Laudrup is the one who brought him in...

Can't judge on one game. We've comments like "Hernandez is a turkey" and "Get rid of Tremmel, he's useless" on this forum in the past. <laugh>

Actually I saw something in the guy and don't forget he'd only been here for a couple of training days. Obviously he was always going to be safety first and try not to give the ball away give him time, ISMLWT !

If it was the game against Sevilla he might of been checking on Sevilla centre forward Baba Diawara, don't know if he was playing?
He certainly fits the profile of striker we are being linked with.
There's also Negredo, might be out of our league though.

Lamah - Didn't stand out. Didn't look out of place. He touched the ball plenty. The fact he didn't look out of place, and the fact that he went unnoticed to some, shows that he's going to fit in just fine. He'd probably only had one or two training sessions with the team before the Stoke game, so his best is definitely still to come.

Apparently we're in for Kurt Zouma of St Etienne though our approach has been rebuffed
