Has put forward a motion that SEVCO,claiming to be the same club, should be held liable for outstanding tax debts. Wouldn't it be ver revealing if he is told that this is not possible, since the are NOT the same club. Btw if they are the same club then HMRC Phoenix rules would permit them to pursue same. I seem to recall that SEVCO could be deemed to meet all five of the required criteria. Tax evasion is a UK wide important issue and concern. Lets see what actually happens.
There was an article on rm today , listing all the apologies Sevco were due , they should get the same amount of apologies old Rangers gave out . NONE
Pud, I know that this post requires some transposition of person from first to second and then third. In the original post I am asking the reader to imagine the response that GG may get, thus responding to his claim that SEVCO are the club. The respondents to Georges allegations would reply that they are NOT the same club. This does not preclude my own belief that SEVCO are a new club, since I do not write in the first, but in the second and third persons, so imagining a response to GG. We, Celtic fans cannot lose. Possible outcomes 1 George is told that SEVCO are not the same club and as such are not liable to outstanding debts. 2 George is told that they are the same club, a Phoenix, and as such HMRC will be advised to upsurge the outstanding £21 m tax debts. Conversing with sevconians is painful. It's like playing chess with a pigeon.

George Galloway has about as much chance of succeeding with this nonsense as he has of becoming the next Home Secretary.
Gimmicky ****e from Galloway. Even if it is funny. Gregory Campbell had an early day motion too this week praising Sevco fans for being pure brilliant n'at. He should have his **** kicked in for time wasting. At least Galloway had kind of a point.
I would like to table a motion that Mr Galloway is a self publicizing hypocrite, one of the many scabs that contributed to the demise of the real left wing by abusing honest people's trust in a cause for his own self gain. A squalid little mouth piece for no cause but his own. Anyone who backs him because he currently appears to support their cause is a fool asking for a knife in their own back. In short. Scum is what he is.
Seems some in the government are interested in this issue, as it could set a precedent for other clubs hoping to do the same......walk away from tax liabilities and continue to trade under the same name. Seems SEVCO meet the five criteria for a Phoenix company. May explain delay in BDO announcements. It's a great time to be a Tim.
