Look I know it's a crap gag but if it catches just one person for one second then it was worth it??! Makes me laugh how all of a sudden everyone is ready to judge our transfer policy, financial health and ambition as a club over the transfer of a guy most of us had never heard of??!

The whole thread is mostly tounge in cheek; the serious bit is about how we want to emulate the Barca model; not compete with them directly. The fact that you've swallowed the whole thing hook line & sinker means that either you think we're actually an threat to you, in which case we're flattered and/or you think we're serious, in which case the joke's on you.
