Hmm, that's the wrong direction for Hethel too then. There's news reports of the new Mclaren P1 being seen in an industrial estate in Norfolk first, so maybe they've got a supplier or something in Norfolk.
There are, apart from when Ben Edwards had to a 'live style' commentary on the 2007 one. It's a shame that it's only 1 disc too, but the action was great and that's what matters.
Watch it you! Despite infinitely preferring Yorkshire, the Lakes, Cornwall, etc, etc, I'm from Norfolk and will defend it to the e-death!
I gather most of you lot are cousins so I guess that makes sense. I can't talk, I'm from the West Country! (Though I don't sound like it)
No, I don't sound like I'm from Norfolk either, very few people I know do. I'm convinced there's a link between intelligence and "regional accentness", because nobody I know who's smart sounds like where they're from.
Is the MP4-28 under there or an older car? please log in to view this image http://www.mclaren.com/formula1/page/mp4-28-car-reveal-1
Off-topic for a bit of fun⦠Aah, so that's where the term 'diss' comes from⦠Thanks, Bando! More off-topicness⦠Also DHC says, "I'm convinced there's a link between intelligence and "regional accentness" ". Well, it's an interesting point and he might be right. Well, just for fun, and expanding upon his thinking (because I've nothing better to for a moment), this is a light-hearted attempt to apply some dispassionate logic⦠Firstly, education (including family environment) and intelligence are distinct concepts. Education forms part of one's environment and may afford certain privileges, advantages or disadvantages; but surely it is one's environment (i.e. personal interaction with others) which lends to the idiosyncracies of accent, rather than intelligence itself? This would suggest that at best, they can be no more than partially related. But then one sees that there may indeed be an overlap⦠It has recently been proven that the genome can be, and is, influenced by environment. One's experience (of environmental influence) can manifest an alteration of the genome in as little as just one generation. Therefore DHC's assertion has at least some basis!
The nose looks tremendously straight and high. A bit like the Saubers of recent years. (Perez style)?
