Great move for him if this happens. Will help them in their final push and he'll get some really competitive games to play in. Hope he will be a 1st team member there and come back to us stronger and ready for the 1st team. Been unlucky as Tiendalli has come and been quality.

Think that'll be good for him provided he gets on the pitch and doesn't get distracted by the bright lights of London

will be good for him, we will need him next season IF we qualify for Europe. 4 homegrown players at the club (8 total from the English league) from 25 players needed. (under 21's don't need to be registered)
    Our homegrown will be:
    Jazz
    Davies
    Cornell

Who else? We look one short, maybe Lee Lucas?

Yeah, reckon Lee Lucas could be the next to step up. Scott Tancock is meant to be showing promise as well...hopefully we'll see in the next few years some more youth come through thanks to the funding we are finally putting in and our own success will hopefully encourage more local youngsters into the game.

Hopefully the endless nepotism that went on with the Swansea youth trials when I was a kid has stopped. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't good enough to get in but the boys whose dads knew the scouts and Swans trainers did surprisingly well (but were not heard of once the teenage years and the lust for beer and b00bs took hold).

To be fair, I do respect pro footballers for managing (to at least some degree) to resist these damnable temptations :)

Norfolk I can think of 20,000 reasons a week to resist. One thing is for certain with a lot of players they dont have to resist the boobs.

Yeah, true in this league, but must be hard in the lower leagues when you're barely getting enough to call it a permanent job though.

go on then give 20,000 reasons.......i`ll come back in a week 2 see how youve done <laugh>.....only kidding <ale>

like ive said before i work with lee`s dad and the lad has just bought a plot of land where his house will be built in aberdare,so it doesnt look like he`s thinking of moving far away unless he rents it out or puts his mam and dad in it whilst he`s away on loan>>>>>>>i know his dad wants him playing and he doesnt care where aslong as he gets time on the pitch.......this lad has been with you since he`s been nine years of age and has seen many midfielders bought in when it was looking like he just maybe getting his chance 2 show what he can do <ok>

"all we are singing is give lee`s a chance" <laugh>

Yeah, saw a friendly game here in Norwich and him & Kurtis March absolutely bossed the midfield despite both being absurdly dwarfed in size against the Norwich boys. They probably both need some time out on loan to fulfil the potential...

As rubber knows i have championed Lee lucas in the past and think he is a smashing prospect, problem for me is i havent seen alot of him the last year or more so i dont really know how he is progressing, i know he was injured for a while but looks like he is over that.

Many have said he is the next Joe Allen but i think he can be the next Lee Lucas !! problem is that Joe was able to take his baby steps in the right leagues, lucas wont have that luxury so a loan is the next step for him. I dont want us to drop him down too low in the league system either, look at shaun Mac, he is very comfortable in L1 and i thought Lucas always had far more about him than shaun. L1 would be a nice taster for him i reckon but a ccc club that plays the right way may accelerate his progess. Ben Davies came into full back this season at prem level and has done amazing, midfield is a totally differnt animal though .

Anybody know if Laudrup is having contact with the youngsters in the youth set-up??

Nice to see Jazz doing all right at Palace. He has started in all three matches so far and contributed with two assist in the last to matches. Let's hope it continues like that :emoticon-0150-hands

Saw him against Mexico - cool and as classy as they come. Can't understand why he hasn't been given more opportunity.

Well, now he's finally getting some experience. If he can hold on to the fullback position in Crystal Palace for the rest of the season, it's gonna be hard for Rangel to keep his slot in the x11.
I hope we can get som kind of arrangement with Palace so that we can send more talents for them to give matchexperience. I think Holloway will do them good...
