Sorry no remorse from me, the ****s are both doctors, they could have afforded to take there nanny out with them.

Then every 30 mins , someone from the PARTY, goes to check on the kids(not just there's, others in the party as well).

When my kids were that age, me & the Mrs never let them out of our sight, never mind mind for ****ing 30 mins.

Sorry for saying this but, They were enjoying themselves with TOTAL disregard for their kids,Sometimes **** happens, But these Sloppy ****ers bring parenting to a new level.

 

So they ****ed up big time, they were guilty of child neglect at the very least and have been condemned from all quaters including myself but surely there comes a time when we move on from what they did wrong and give them our sympathy?

Try and imagine the pain they are going through, put yourself in their shoes for a moment if you can. Do you not think you would spend every waking second blaming yourself for her disappearance?

They have suffered enough and they have been punished more than a ****ing serial killer, give them a break.

 

I have personally had enough of it too. The amount of space it takes up in my daily newspaper (um The Guardian) is very annoying. At least the royal wedding is over though

 

I just don't read it because I find it sad, but I can't blame them for trying to keep her case high profile.

 

Don't get me wrong mate it was and is very sad, it just gets to a point where you have heard enough. There is a lot of sadness about in the world and I think the OP's point is the media shouldn't focus on this one missing child, after all this time, with all the other **** that is going on. If they find her, fine, I don't mind another few days of it as that would be a great read and lovely news, but the only story here is that Scotland Yard will be looking into a few things. Is it not a bit too ****ing late?

There was a news item last week where a 14 year old girl died after taking an E in a house party. The adult 'in charge' went out and left a house full of teenagers (bad move in anyones book, but something that's done up and down the country all the time, probably). The adult concerned is being prosecuted for the criminal offence of 'child abandonment'. If he can automaticaaly and instantly get charged for leaving 14 year olds, why weren't the McCanns charged with this as soon as they returned to the UK?
In all likelihood we'll never get to know what happened, but the way they mobilised the media so expertly and quickly, and all the piousness meeting the Pope, now getting Cameron and Scotland Yard involved when the book comes out etc., makes me feel that there is something contrived and very cynical about the whole thing.
I stand to be corrected, but I'm sure there was a medical report on the other two kids that confirmed they'd been given some sort of sleeping medication, so it does make you wonder.

 

ok slightly off topic but here goes ...2 bar men here in ireland were acquitted of manslaughter yesterday after serving an englishman a pint glass of spirits which the guy downed in one and died. now back on topic if two bar men can be brought to court on manslaughter charges for something an adult decided to do ,surely parents who **** off out and leave little kids on their own can be done for neglect at the very least, p.s. kate and gerry are on an irish chat show tonite maybe even now 'promoting' theyre book i dont know because i turned over when i heard they were on

 

That would be a great read too, I'd stomach that story in my paper for at least a week

 

I know a woman who's son was at the party, apparently he was pretty ****ed up for a few days.

 

There is still something around the McCanns that makes it hard to feel you trust what they say ; I suspect this comes from their own inability to really accept their own culpability in this - ie , leaving their children unattended in the way they habitually appeared to do - therefore , whenever they speak there seems to be something kept back or hidden.

 

Surely any trail is cold and the case shouldn't be revived unless significant new evidence comes to light. If they're innocent, I can understand the McCanns doing everything in their power to keep the investigation alive, but Cameron shouldn't allow him to be manipulated in this way. Police resources should be directed at more recent cases where there is a far better chance of a resolution.

 

The fact that Kate refused to answer any of the questions put to her by police, including the ones that would not incriminate her, says it all for me
