It isn't sour grapes... I have (like Drogs has) said well done, congrats etc. numerous amount of times. It's just that we don;t think it was a red at all... each to their own
The point I was trying to make that it doesn't matter what the ballboy did or didn't do. Hazard should not get involved
The guy had no option but to not press charges, he couldn't really press charges could he, What !!!dont talk daft, he could have pressed charges as he is a civilian and the police asked his parents if they wanted to take it further...remember cantona's kung foo kick....Hazard will get a ban if the FA decides to press charges and rightly so but swansea and the lad's parents are not pressing charges. im sorry you cant go around kicking civilians at any circumstances and i hope he gets what is coming to him.....
I gave up trying to understand modern football a long time ago. It's quite clear the media are pushing through their PC agenda into football but its gone too far now. Players banned for swearing Kicking a ball at someone's head can cause brain damage Linesmen can now be dropped for having light hearted post match banter with players. Footballers can now be red carded and banned for kicking.... Footballs. Yes, this really has happened Modern football for you
I find it amusing when people put the kung fu kick from Cantona in the same instance as Hazard's situation when Hazard got the ball!
1) The ball boy was a twat... but being a twat doesn't mean he deserves violence (as some have claimed..should have been kicked harder etc) He did NOTHING violent so there should be some perspective. It would surprise me if it turned out that he had some kind of learning difficulty/disability of some kind...mind you maybe he is just terminally stupid! 2) Hazard was a twat...he should have known that kicking the ball would probably mean connecting with the ball boy as well...he had no idea the ball boy was 17 so his judgement was poor to say the least...but being a twat doesn't mean he deserves to be accused of deliberately aiming a kick at the ball boy...or be called scum...and the demands for a massive ban are plain daft. 3) Those pouring bile on either of the twats need to get a life...neither of them have done anything that deserves the level of abuse thats been flying around 4) Joey Barton is a violent self absorbed **** who epitomises everything wrong with young men with money...to claim the boy deserved a harder kick for laying on a ball is a joke...but then again this is from a **** who thought he was big and brave when attacking an innocent man in the street; stubbed a cigar into the face of someone at a christmas party; kicked a player who had his back to him after he was sent off and attacked a team mate in in training leaving him with horrible facial injuries. Anyone who thinks he is right to say a non violent piece of stupidity by a 17 year old (when he has faced no physical punishment for his brutal acts of violence) needs to get some perspective. Barton bleats on about trying to come to terms with his anger issues and looking for help and how people hold his past mistakes against him yet now claims the ball boy deserves a good kicking for laying on a ball? Like I said ...Barton is a ****. 5) Both the ball boy and Hazard have kissed and made up and no harm has been done ... Hazard will have learnt his lesson and the ball boy has had his 15 mins so it just needs to be left alone. Hazard will serve a 3 match ban and he has apologised...ie accepted he ****ed up and so has the ball boy. Finally while I thought ( and still do ) that Hazard was wrong ... it was also comical to watch.

This morning he was a horrible little chav and now he's a horrible little over privileged ****. I love our caring sharing society...... He was an idiot, Hazard was an idiot - bioth of them woke up fit and healthy this morning. End of story. Mind, if Hazard has the red card rescinded I wouldn't moan.
We matched you in effort, strength and determination. We were solid at the back....and this seems to be the norm these days which none of us Jacks could have imagined not too long ago! We were far more disciplined. And our game plan was cleverer and executed perfectly which led to us creating several clear cut chances. With 12 minutes to go we were 2 - nil up, comfortable and looking the more likely to score. We are in our first ever major cup final and have a very good chance of winning, thus securing European football next year.....and all anyone wants to talk about is Eden Hazard's lack of discipline! **** me! He was in the wrong, he's been punished and we have nothing to be embarrassed about. Chelsea need to look at themselves and ask why their players, who are paid 10-25 times what ours are paid (across the board), who tried to injure our players and dived for penalties/free kicks...couldn't create even 1 clear cut chance in a game they needed to win. Their pampered stars have no excuses, all of their big guns were out. We don't even own a training ground
Obviously you are not too date with the Law. There is no such thing as a "civilian" involved. The ballboy is one of the FA approved participants in the game. As such he has to perform his role in accordance with the FA guidelines (which he didn't). Furthermore he bragged on twitter before the match as to what he would do. Puts a whole different slant on things.
This is why I don't care if their is action because the police will have to fully investigate the ball boys tweets and then Swansea to see if it was a policy for them to cheat. No wonder the lads father wants it dropped quickly.
Both were in the wrong, simple as that, now will the FA see it as that or will they extend his 3 match ban
he put his hands on the lad before kicking him in the ribs whether he was trying to get the ball or not....You cannot do that under any circumstances.......He committed a serious offence no matter how you try to justify it and must be dealt with...
Shame though. How mch fun would it be? "Anderson to Rooney, Rooney goes past 2 defenders, plays it to van persie and it's a goal! Oh hang on, the Chief Superintendent from the Merseyside police has disallowed it saying Ashley Young was in an offiside position. Well, Young's actually on the bench but I don't think Mike Reily is about to argue with the police"......
you can see him in 20 years time, when they do a programme where are they now, and up pops this 37 year old swans fan telling how it changed his life, blah blah
