Couldn't agree more. It's like that lad that moved to Devon because of some paranoid conspiracy theory about the nasty cockneys trying to destroy newcastle united.

It's been much, much worse than this, at least the owners are fighting to stay up with those signings, not fudging the gate figures to pocket the cash.

I think what gets to fans this season was the fact we did so well last season and it was never built upon by the ****s at the top.Fans seen a team that was there to be built on and it did not happen .Instead we are fighting relegation. From 5th top to 5th bottom only at the toon eh?I to was thinking of chucking it in after 25 years season ticket but deep down i never will.I am protesting though as i will not be going to the uefa cup game i have had enough of seeing the ****e this season so paying extra for it was a bridge to far.1st home game i have missed in about 11 years.

I wish I had a season ticket. but living in the midlands means it is too expensive. me and my dad have to pick our games, normally the tickets and petrol will cost us £60 each. when you include food parking and thingswe can easy spend £100 each just for one game. looked at readings but they are £80 return. need to find more midland supporters

I fully understand your frustration - it's been bloody awful recently.

Like others though, i'm a little surprised by your timing. Losing at home to Reading is pretty shocking, but we've had much worse periods even while Ashley has ruled.

As i've said before, I quit halfway through the 2010-11 season just after Chris Hughton was sacked - i've not been back but then i've put most of the country between myself and SJP these days! <cool>

Hopefully the influx of new players will give everyone a boost and we'll rise up the table to safety. <ok>

Yes I have, I saw a lot of tripe in the 70s you think Daglish, Guillit and Souness was bad you should have seen the tripe Lee and Dinnis dished up. Best thing was when Arthur Cox came and brought in Keegan and turned it round. As I have said in previous post's I hope they prove me wrong. Even though in August I will not be there I will alway's support NUFC and one day go back for a season ticket.

I hope so and on the plus side I have seen a Newcastle team win a cup.

I'm not a million miles along the road from you going into town LE, if for any reason I can't get to a game I'll let you have the use of mine. A good seat behind the goal in the GG End.

We could make arrangements for you could pick it up on your way to the game.

Bobby Shinton, Gary Megson etc. Pretty bad times. That was a post from the heart LE, sorry you feel like that, but maybe good times are just round the corner. Be a shame to miss out.
