Just looking at the photos from Melwood and the past few months I have seen various pictures of players getting their ears thumped. I assume it is part of some game ( 5x2, keep up/ass, etc) but was wondering what game it might actually be? Seems a little fun that Kenny has added into practices. It is important the practice always start in a good positive mood as it keeps things ticking along! just curious if anyone knew what the actual game was, thanks and it's friday roll on Sunday, roll on 5th, safe sound and sorted!
it is on the website under " Pics Tom Werner at melwood". All it shows it players getting flicked, but that is all, didn't knwo if any had LFC. TV or anything like that that would show the warm up, etc. Just curious really, I know it sounds like a dumb article but I always like to add fun warm-up games to my trainings. For older ones keep up/ass is top stuff, and 5x2 keep away is always a fan favorite!

From the looks of those pictures, they're using the ear flicks as punishment for losing a game / exercise. Lucas and the other one getting the ear flick were probably on the losing side in a 5-a-side or some other drill. We used to do something similar after 5-a-side training games for our uni team - the losers had to stand on the goal line whilst the winners each took a penalty at them. Good for a bit of a laugh and to break the tension of one side having 'lost' the drill.
