Hopefully this week will see the birth of my daughter which will help forget about this dire state we are in

When my first child was born back in 2010 it was the night we beat Forrest 2.0 at st James with Jose grabbing the second, my wife was in labour at the hospital and I was checking the phone every 2 mins which did not go down well however when we won and virtually sealed promotion I was prob shouting lounder with joy then the mums to.

My dad always mentions on my birthday how only days before I was born we got spanked by Liverpool 4.1 back in the 80s, ironically it was Liverpool who ruined my 18th when we also got sparked 4.1 in 98 Owen getting a hatrick that was a sobering result.

Maybe that's why I hate Liverpool but hey ho

Yep, that's what I'm hoping as well. I could do with a good distraction at the moment. Feverishly checking online for news on the Toon, is not doing me any favours whatsover.

The sooner that little man arrives, the better!

So you called your daughter 'David Ginola and Robbie Burns'? I've heard of some strange names people give their kids, but that's up there win the weirdest.

Due date was 14th January. Tomorrow will be the 41 week mid wife appointment, where we'll arrange induction, which will most likely be next Saturday.

Yeah, first child - the way the missus is feeling towards him at the moment, will probably be the first and last! :emoticon-0106-cryin

When was your due date? I seem to remember it being yesterday?!

A tradition which we did for years when children were small, was because we live beside a wood on Christmas Eve we would take them and friends a go looking for Santa.
I would lead and my husband who would be at rear would drop sweets so when we came back the children found them, believing Santa had left them.
Funny thing they have all grown up but they all mention it at Christmas

Just thought I'd let you all know, my wife gave birth to a healthy, beautiful baby boy at 1:30am today. Neither of us has had much sleep ,in the last three days and I can't manage much more info than that at the moment.

Thanx again for all your tips for inducing labour!
