Now we know why Warnock has a striker as a priority. FFS we should have guessed Luciano was being offered for sale and wouldn't be here in February, I thought it was bull ****
If they thought 18,000 gates were poor wait until the next league game if they don't bring in a couple of exciting players and I don't mean on loan or of the calibre of Blackstock.
Boggers, I don't know if you saw how he played against Barnsley & Bristol, but it was obvious then his head had been turned but I never thought he would put a request in. My post was based on info I had been given, as I am not a wum (or a bullshitting twat). I had hoped he would stay regardless. I have reliable info (again no specific dates) that at some point Bates is gonna drop down dead!
The only possible positive I can think of about Becchio leaving is maybe, just maybe, without him in the side our defenders will realise they have nobody to smash it 50 yards up to and actually manage to successfully pass it along the floor to our midfield. Maybe.
Fair point Kiwi, although replacing a 20 goal a season player is going to be hard work. As he's under contract until the end of next season by which time we could conceivably be in the PL & be able to better reward our players, one wonders whether we might refuse to sell unless we get a silly money offer.
Completely agree, although last season we had a 20 goal a season player in McCormack - do we sell Becchio for a decent fee (assuming it's reinvested obviously...) sign someone (a la Keogh) who gets the best out of McCormack and add an extra 1 or 2 just to add some quality? - ie a winger or two and a LB? Depends. Strange days indeed.
Works for me Kiwi. McCormack up front with Diouf, with Somma to come on 2nd half until e's fully fit, Hall et al, out wide, & some steel in the centre. We wll ms Becchio for certain. But if his departure results in us playing more on the floor, thenevery cloud... If he plays Sunday, I really hope the fans sing his praises. Nothing wrong in wanting to better yourself financially.
You forget in 18 months we could be in the Champions League. Think your'e being a little defeatest only setting your sights on the PL
We are off loading Henderson because of his wages because of the fair play rules coming in. all tells you there will be no more big signings coming into Leeds so forget Gradle and the likes if this statement about it being to high a wage bill is correct also means Warnock is deffo not the man for your club as he is only ever succesful when he has dosh to spend what you need is a good manager who knows the smaller leagues inside out and can pick quality players out and turn them into great players and build a solid team who can achieve good things on a shoestring budget, and ties there best players to long term contracts on sensible wages. someone like Kenny Jackett
They will now take any reasonable offer for him and will not get anywhere near what some fans are saying The fee will be undisclosed and Leeds will be very lucky if they get 2mil. Its either that or pay high wages to a player who does not want to be at the club. and will never be picked to play for Leeds again. They have 1 week to get rid and if no one buys dont expect a replacement to come in....

Thanks for the 'negative rep' ellandback. Maybe next time you won't respond to a bit of banter like a pathetic little tart.
Good for you. I respect your right to insult me like a man and not a bitch. Edit; And even more negative rep from farsleyexile Have I accidentally stumbled into the Northern branch of 'Gay Rights'?
