At least it was her own tampon. Were these people just doing it for internet notoriety, or do they have legitimate mental issues?

She did it for internet fame. She also said "you're all weird!!!" or something before doing it. Self-filmed so not even pissed with friends.

Also.... the guy. Claims it is not for fame but has made his video public on Facebook.....
 
Come on ffs guys this all an absolute load of rubbish and you have all added to their quest for fame buy watching.

I always thought you guys were well above the most base of the world's population
 
So we go from a discussion about politics and the EU to a discussion of idiotic members of the public craving attention? I suspect there might be a relationship. He's obviously talking about America here but a lot of this George Carlin quote applies to the UK as well:

Now, there's one thing you might have noticed I don't complain about: politicians. Everybody complains about politicians. Everybody says they suck. Well, where do people think these politicians come from? They don't fall out of the sky. They don't pass through a membrane from another reality. Maybe something else sucks around here... like, the public. Yeah, the public sucks. There's a nice campaign slogan for somebody: 'The Public Sucks. F*ck Hope'.
