Seeing as this has being stickied thought I'd better post something. Going to give the slow cooker a go this weekend with brisket or pork shoulder liquid to be confirmed.
I've been eating lots of porridge also.. I'm basically eating porridge and soup most days.. 1910 calories a day in trying to keep within. Managed it all week so far have even had a few ales .
I tend to go for raw veg and then fish on the weekend, as long as I avoid meat the weight drops off me. Not that I'm that heavy but could do better.
same, I don't go to the gym or any indoor activities just cycling or running for me. Was going to switch to swimming till the snow ****ed off but couldn't be arsed really.
Just been up to Hereford, site visit and recce. This is food related honest , found a B&B on a farm out of town and there is nothing in walking distance but there is one decent looking pub and a bab shop a bit further on. That's good, it restricts my beer intake but looks like food options are limited bar those so will need an excercise outlet. The leisure centre is cross town though so may go elsewhere, will need to do a swin and join a squash ladder or gym for the term of the contcat. Probably won't do the latter! Been having porridge with blueberries, banana and manuka honey every day this month. Tasty super food. Really fancy a pint tonight mind, got to say. How is resisted after that journey home last night I don't know. Starting to crumble on the no booze mid week vow now the waggon had bolted.
