Pelts is a bloody good CB IMO. Would like to see Pelts & Lees in the middle with Pearce pushing them for a spot. Byram out on the right and White/Dury on the left
Drury seems to be out for a long time so I think it's fair to say we need to bring in a LB to be certain of not seeing Peltier out there however well White may end up doing.
Why would Gradel come back to us when our game plan involves hoofing the ball from Kenny to Becchio? We could actually save loads of money on appearance fees by just playing those two every game. Our defensive record probably wouldn't suffer too much either.
Warnocks not a bad left back, he made it into the England set up ahead of Wayne Bridge last world cup. I would like to see Aidy given an extended run there though. Who knows whats going on at villa if Darren Bent is struggling for game time.
Howya Bucks. In truth I don't know much about him. But reading some of the comments in the YEP, there aren't many supporters getting too excited. I'm just sick of the loanee mentality with this club. I wish the new owners would just come out and say that they've no money left after buying bates out.
I wish they would say something! Warnock is a better left back than we've got on the books at the moment. I'd take him why Dury is getting fit (cant even tell you honestly is Dury is good enough, I havent hardly seen him!) But thinking long term it would be good to give White a run as left back, I truly believe thats his position not RW just because he has a bit of pace! Anyway, I think we need wingers & maybe a ball playing CM (Barkley could be the man for this) and I think we will see the goals against drop as we will have more of the ball in positive areas. Hoofing it up the field is just giving the ball back 50% of the time and inviting pressure to our backline. I dont really think our back four are that bad and we have our tactics wrong. Any idea what his injury/fitness record was like for Norwich? I thought he played nearly every game but I could have been believing Warnocks hipe to be honest, cant really remember Danny Pugh? Rather have Andy Hughes. No offence Andy (your ****ing brilliant) Hughes! Must admit, I loved the game Pugh came in for when Warnock first took charge & he almost ripped someones sock of with a late challenge. Thats the kind of Pugh I want to see, dont worry about getting sent off lad, it wont change the game so **** em up!
Now we'll find out if we are still a selling club or not. Hang on to him regardless of what he wants until summer unless someone wants to pay big money to take him now.
