If I was Begovic, I would leave out moving to Man City, to be 2nd choice I doubt it. Utd? Er HOW could he refuse, want him to stay but a good offer from Utd I fear Begovic will be gone no question.
I find it ironic that when we are searching for players/positions that we need (although his position seems very varied as opposed to a master of one) that we get bogged down over relatively small amounts - certainly in football terms. The irony I hear you all ask, well todate we have invested approx 40 million in strikers (which I judge to be roughly half off our spend in the prem) yet in real terms we have recouped very little of that in the departue of Kitson, Tunny, Beattie etc.. and its arguble that we would struggle to get 15 million for our four current strikers, based on form etc....
Johnny Russell would be a great signing for us (from Dundee) He is in good form, relatively cheap and is exactly what we need However he is extremely fast. Anyone agree?
Oh go on then JM, bash the Bishop, you know you want to Our £40million strike squad, are they a bunch of Queens??? Deuce
http://www1.skysports.com/football/...er-League-club-will-not-sign-winger-Brek-Shea Here is the update on Shea Olsson is the one we should be after and being very aggressive, for me he is worth 5 million all day long, and he is probably worth more than that to us given our full back positions are the weakest area of our team. Harry Redknapp wants to sign Blackburn defenders Martin Olsson, 24, and Scott Dann, 25, to help QPR beat the drop. (Daily Mirror)
Back on topic JM - our defence tactic No1 - castling, it's black and white really. Advantage NickyB perhaps Andy Murray eat yer heart out
Exactly Smithers, proper players in their proper places, we would get part of the money back in places up the table.
