I agree Sharp is overpaid. But its not me paying such silly wages. IMO, Billy Sharp is no more than a £20k a week striker in either league. Then again look how much Reading are paying Pogrebniak a week ?? £60k+ a week i think it was reported. Is he any better than ALF who wont be on half that amount i would suggest ?
There is a limit (it's high), but I think we're alright because Brady and Meyler having signed for us permanently don't count towards the season total anymore. Stockdale I'm not sure about as he's only joined us on loan again so his original emergency may or may not count. But with Stockdale on loan we can only field 4 other loanees anyway, so we'll reach the 5 in a matchday squad issue before the maximum loans issue.
