Have to say that Shredded Wheat was always my favourite as a wee boy. Nowadays there are loads of them but they were fairly limited in the early 70's. Shreddies was another. What's everyone's bohood/girlhood's fondest cereal memories?
Aye, it were a hard life. Being called a dirty orange bastard was the worst thing. Scarred me for life.
I'd rather have a bowl of Archie MacPherson's pubic hair than eat Shredded Wheat. I liked Frosties as a kid, but it's too sweet for me now.
I have these every day and I am an aardvark walking on a cheese highway all the way to Saturn. please log in to view this image
Puffed Wheat, wheat for puffs. ST's post reminded me of this rare and valuable CD box set of which I own a copy: please log in to view this image Rare because Kellogs made them withdraw it from sale.
Although when I think about it I loved Corn Flakes most of all, not for the taste but the packet. It always had a collectible toy inside, a Roman Centurion or a Spitfire, stuff like that. If there was no toy there would be a cut out figure on the back of the packet, best ones ever were the Cut out Star Trek masks. McCoy's was ****e, who wants to pretend they are some boring old doctor? But Kirk and Spock were class, never got Sulu though.
