Any idea when your good Mrs will have her entry ready. I would definitely like to see it before doing anything else.

Mick Mills holding aloft the FA Cup and UEFA Cup would have been a nice touch. A young Sir Bobby perhaps?

I love the banner and top marks to Wright for encapsulating the spirit of Ipswich Town. Isn't it a crying shame that we don't have an up to date hero to worship! Jim Magilton and George Burley would best represent the period up to 2005 before the Evans Era.

You can probably create a dozen banners and these are just my own humble opinons! I will be happy to support any banner that gets put up! <ok>

If I get some time a bit later I might try and put together a different design - I've not used photoshop in a while so I've quite enjoyed working out how to use everything again :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Top effort Wrighty.........my only misgiving with it is...Claus Thomsen, he is not a Town legend...sorry weighty...!

My one memory of him in a Town shirt is putting a direct free kick in the river end and I mean in the river at Naarwich....!

    Players who could take his place;

    Ted Phillips
    Ray Crawford
    Jimmy Leadbetter
    George Burley
    Alan Hunter
    Roger Osborne
    Trevor Whymark
    Eric Gates
    Paul Cooper
    Frans Thijssen
    Arnold Muhren
    Mick Mills
    Terry Butcher
    Paul Mariner
    Mick Stockwell
    Romeo Zondervan
    Mauricio Taricco
    Alex Mathie
    Fabian Willnis
    Jim Magilton
    Pablo Counago

Sorry, a bit of self-indulgence with the last one...!

Although not one of our players, I'd be tempted to add Robert Chase to that list...

Just finished another design, thanks for that list Hoppers - I was just coming on to ask for some more suggestions to fit in!

A few of these pics were found by Lancs so thanks for them <ok>

    NEW design:

I'm not sure about the font for 'Ipswich Town' in the bottom right, what do you guys think?
Also I wanted to keep the background a simple colour so that you can see the reflections, I tried a picture of PR but it didn't really work. I'll probably make the blue a bit darker to match the blue of the not606 boards but I'm open for other suggestions (or if you think it is fine how it is?)

I like the new banner Wrighty, not your run of the mill Stadium back drop efforts.

I agree with you on the font for IPSWICH TOWN, how about using the font that is on the back of Sir Alf stand, whatever that may be.
