We just used Pacheco to sign Insigne, he wasn't developing very well and wasn't good enough to make out squad most games.
Was a shame as in FIFA 12 we got him up to 84 ish and he was class, dribbling and finishing being his top stats.
Insigne has slotted straight into the squad, scoring 4 in 4 with numerous assists.

 

Definitely. I invest a lot of money in the scouts / youth but use it merely as a money generation exercise TBH. doesn't matter so much at one of the top teams but it is crucial if yo take over a lower league team

 

Pacheco is currently at 85 for me. He shoots up to the 80's in the first season if you play him. His ball control, passing, finishing, crossing, etc are all superb along with being pacey too. He is one of my must buys

 

Maybe get him back in a few seasons time. Knew he had the potential, Coates, wisdom, sama, Robinson are all coming along nicely. Hendo doesn't have top stats, 79 I think hes at, but he seems to play really well every time we need him.

 

Agree with that. His technical and physical stats are class. Had him on loan in Championship for Brighton and him Leandro and Buckley were an awesome front 3. 3rd season and his 82 for Liverpool at the moment but not playing so going to try sign him when the window opens but he's worth £9mil so not sure if I can afford him.

Unfortunately if you download latest squads his stats have gone down dramatically to mid 70's rather than 80's.

 

Coates and Henderson both make the early 80's if played. Only seen Wisdom get to mid-70's. I have Robinson at Aldershot Town, he's on 80 in my fifth season, bought him at start of third year and he plays every game so he doesn't grow to become top notch.

Sterling gets into the 80's if played a lot too. Suso gets to late 70's

 

He was valued at £9m when I bought him for Aldershot Town, got him for £5.5m

 

Sterling's guaranteed potential is 89.

Problem with Suso is they raised his overall from 63 to 73 but didn't change his potential therefore he barely grows.

 

Anyone play on ps3 and would be interested in playing pro clubs?

It's like the virtual pro feature last year, could be good if there's a couple of us.

 

On Xbox I'm afraid, is that mode any good?

 

It's pretty good if you're with a group of people who pass the ball and so on. There is a fair chance of playing with 10 people who all want to be striker though.

 

Doesn't it rely on everyone sticking around to play the game too? Ie, you get twenty minutes in and someone finds something better to do...

 

No, pretty much everyone can drop out. It can end up 1 v 1, but rarely does. Games normally finish with at least half of the players that started.

But if we had a club we'd be playing other clubs, with people who actually stick in the role they've chosen for their pro...

 

Me and a few mates tried it on FIFA 12, I thought they had got rid of it. We made a club and each chose a position etc. Then whenever we played anyone they would have a team of tiny little speedsters, so was impossible to defend against them. Was frustrating so we stopped pretty quick. All agreed that it could be great if they improved it.

 

Yeh that's always an issue... trick is probably to fight fire with fire! It's harder to just use pace on 13 though.

In 13, you can't bring your offline pro online, as well - so it's harder to get your pro to the level they were at pretty quickly in 12. Therefore - less 90+ pace players.

 

Three games to go and just two points between fourth and sixth. My Aldershot Town are fifth but the last games are Man City away(4th), Chelsea away (2nd) and Newcastle away(6th)

Unlucky that!! Need to get back on Ingolstadt, starting the year off right, doing well enough, got Athletico in my group for Europa then some ****ters. Beat Schalke 4-1 ( 2 x Marcos Junior, 2x Aboubakar) after they knocked me out of CL spot the year before.
