BOSS Ally McCoist has revealed that striker Kal Naismith is the latest Rangers youngster to be targeted for a new contract. Negotiations have opened up with the 20-year-old who was on target for the Reserves yesterday in their 4-0 win over Queen of the South at Broadwood. Naismith has played 13 times for the top team this season - starting just once - and scored three goals and he joins Chris Hegarty who the club are also looking to tie down on a new deal. McCoist also reaffirmed that Rangers want to secure the future of goalkeeper Neil Alexander who is out of contract at the end of the season. The manager said: âWe are looking to offer new contracts to Chris Hegarty and Kal Naismith and we are in discussions with them. âIt is equally important that we continue discussions with Neil Alexander and his representatives and get something sorted out there too. âI think itâs only fair that we look to the future and repay the boys who have been doing well for us. âWe tied up three of the younger ones at the start of the season â Lewis Macleod, Barry McKay and Robbie Crawford - and that was important. âWe know itâs going to be a long and bumpy ride so we want to hold on to our key players and our younger players.â ---------------------- The fella has looked impressive in the few games he has played for us. Hopefully one for the future.
He's always welcome at Celtic Park. Being a Scottish International and all. What's his status at Poundland? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...d-Kyle-Lafferty-must-live-with-decisions.html
I think we have suffered enough with Huns minded people terrorising our manager , Some of our players and some of our fans. Could you not try playing us fair and square,
He is a decent prospect who has had an exciting life so far. He was the one that was abducted with Hutton if I remember right. He went on loan to the Jags last season. I've thought he has been fairly reliable in the games I've seen him play in this season.
Aye, waving a flag proves how much you love your country. Jog on spastic boy. Those with a brain inside their head instead of twa marbles are talking.
