A first-class passenger has been arrested at Thailand's international airport after being found carrying suitcases filled with baby leopards, panthers, a bear and monkeys. The animals had been drugged and were headed for Dubai. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/may/13/leopard-in-suitcase-thailand-dubai Sadly, this isn't the first time this sort of thing has happened. I can remember hearing a shocking story a while back about a woman who smuggled a skunk through in her pants...
Ignoring the last sentence, these animal smugglers are sick bastards. As are the ****s who buy them and add to the misery.
you're probably right, altho where would you rather live? in a huge luxury mansion in dubai or a **** tip in thailand?
There's no answer to the animal smuggling problem. Banning rare species exports just makes them more valuable, farming them would be the only solution but that's ****ed too.
