I think it is meant to be Unknowns although Damiao isn't really unknown anymore. You can throw in Dede (CB) and Caseimero(CDM) in that list as well. Shame about Ganso, thrown in too early and really knocked him back.

I said a couple of days ago that I think it is down to value. Players from the French league seem to be cheaper but they are also more hit and miss, there aren't many 'average, can do a job' types that come from there
Fixed I'm not really that convinced about non-European's coming straight to the Premier League, they always seem to take an age to settle if they ever do. Obviously, Neymar is the exception to the rule
Heres one that shows how full of sh*t the media are Talksport saying Marko Marin could go to CSKA Moscow on loan to 'get games'...maybe they don't realise CSKA dont play again til mid March
Numerous rags reporting Bayern are going to offer somewhere around £40m for Suarez. And SSN reporting that Man U have confirmed their interest in Reina, Liverpool and the Mancs last done transfer business 49yrs ago.
Torres cost £50M. That is the benchmark for Suarez. Fergie can **** off... he wouldn't try it, anyway, he knows the rivalry too well. Remember Heinze?
Rafa turned down £75m from City for Torres. and I thought of Heinze to. If Reina goes he is not going to Manchester.
I thought Torres had said he didn't want to join Man City too? At the time they had money but not the team
Nah, all Ian Ayre does is make phone calls to clubs and news papers... In serious talk, it seems like Coutinho could still happen. Makes me think that the Sneijder rumour may have been wrong and that the press just assumed when they heard we were talking to Inter.
Oh i know that jk. ps. The last player to move directly from us to the mancs was Allenby Chilton in 1938.
Yep. Thought this - maybe a bit of a leap of faith but we'll see. Coutinho would be WELL WORTH £8M. In fact it's an astonishing deal, especially given the price he'd be worth if he was British. If he signs for a club like Southampton, as rumoured (their new coach was with him at Espanyol) he could be worth £20M very quickly given the inflation of prices in the league right now.
Sky reporting it too now: Reports are emerging that a Liverpool delegation has flown to Italy in a bid to complete the transfer of midfielder Phillippe Coutinho from Inter Milan. We'll keep you up to date with any developments.
