Howdy, Bradford have made it through to the final of the league Cup, they're more successful than Hull I'm joking, they were already more successful than Hull having won the FA Cup in the 1920's... Do we want Bradford to win the cup? I know they are local rivals, but its the David v Goliath scenario!!! Who's gonna get behind them? We have no midweek game this week.... What are we going to do? Do we play too many midweek games. Why can't league football be spread over 11 months, or at least 10? Tate has gone back to Swansea and with Drury sidelined with injury and Kissa out on loan we are thin on the ground. What does Warnock have up his sleeve? A £275k price tag was agreed to take Tate to Elland Rd, so what has changed? Is Warnock bringing in a big name or could we not offord him? Big Gus Poyet has come out and said he would love to manage Leeds some day, thoughts? Dindane is set to join us. Bargain or another Pompey reject?

Regretfully, I see this as at least 4-1 to the Swans. Glad we've got no midweek game, although we could have been playing Swansea. C'est La Vie. Time to work on passing & other moves for the final run in. Not sure I see us being that thin. Peltier & Lees as CBs with Pearce as cover. White at LB with Pugh as cover. Not too bad. I don't go with this "GFH couldn't afford him" cr^p as written on another whinge site. I think Warnock decided we've got enough at CB for now & we can do better in the main TW come the summer. Probably a good move, but time will tell. I'd love to have Poyet as our next manager. The sooner Warnock confirms his plans for next season - in or out (bit like the EU referendum statement that'll be made in a few minutes, but less boring). GFH can then make plans for next season. Morning all. Fantastic performance from Bradford. Cant see the rivalry thing from here as we have seldom even been in same division as them. Love to see them win the thing and will make sure I watch it now. Normally cant be bothered. Poyet, I'd have him back big time. No doubt he was the brains behind Wise when he was here. Would have to have proper backers though, not this present lot. A few weeks back I was looking forward to our matches again. We'd gone on a little run for six matches, new owners and all was looking rather promising. I'm afraid, as with many, that feeling is gone and back to hoping something happens during the summer. And boggers, I don't see how people saying we cant afford a player are whinging. So far, gfh have spent virtually nothing. They can only be judged on actions and to date we have seen no evidence of wealth or a wealthy backer. Lots of us will happily change our view if this happens, but at this moment it's a fair assumption they have nothing based on the lack of transfer activity so far. Hope I'm proven wrong when this top signing arrives. At least we'll be able to judge what Patel and Warnock regards as top signings then
Morning all, Patel said last night Didane would not be joining us he apparently also hinted at a major signing !! duck knows, we are supposed to be bringing one more in before the spurs game, apart from that we'll done Bradford, to be fair Villa were ****e on the night, I think Lambert is a dead man walking in a macron top.
One way traffic in the first half but as soon as Bradford equalised it changed the game - as Iain Dowie said at the time it just shows how brittle their confidence is It'll be even more brittle after Friday night but will Lambert still be there
Morning all No I won't be supporting Bradford when it comes to the league final. I'm sick of the smug Bradford supporting Look North Presenters and want to see the smile slapped off their faces when they get hammered. Glad the season only as long as it is TBH. No mid week games hopefully it will give Warnock time to bring in decent players. Yeah we are a bit thin on the back four we could do with possibly 1 or 2 more additions to the defense pending on this mystery number 6 being a Defender. Regarding Tate don't care that he's left just another on of our hundred loan players we've had since dropping out of the prem. Hopefully Warnock's got a cracker of a player lined up and can finally sort out our back four problem. Poyet as manager would be nice, liked him as a player and I think he'd do pretty well for us as a manger. Warnock's challenge of one final promotion before retirement seems to be slowly fading and we need to start looking for his replacement. Didane I couldn't care less about to be honest. I'd rather see the 25 year old from the Belgium League to had been tweeting about us over last weekend

If I was Villa's board I'd be eyeing up a replacement, they're a point of the drop zone and one of the favourites to go down plus loosing to Bradford must be slightly humiliating for them.
Agree. Seems to score about 1 in 3 games & I will completely lose the faith if Becchio is sold so we can spend 700k on Blackstock.
