Belgium have some great talents apart from the obviously one's such as De Bruyn who i rate greatly. Courtois the goalkeeper is very good to, Chelsea need to keep hold of and one i rate higher than most is Radja Nainggolan from Cagliari, who is a superb talent. However i agree France have produced some fine footballers, however there are no real signs of them gelling as a team for me. However the money getting pumped in at the top level will no doubt see quite a lot leave as foreign stars bombard the league which could help them develop skills to use for France.

    Maintenant, l'equipe s'appelle Chateauneuf.

At least they are now named after a decent tipple instead of that sod awful Brown Ale.

three more today Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Bordeaux striker Yoan Gouffran, and Nancy left-back Massadio Haidara

and talk of another two before the window shuts, St Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

They do look a brilliant squad in all fairness.

Newcastle appear to be doing what Arsene Wenger did with Arsenal; sign French players.

Belgians have a good squad on paper but that is no guarantee of success.

do you honestly think all these French players are been signed by Pardew?? I cant why he would go out and sign all French players, would understand if he was French..

I think this summer it will be Raymond Domenech, Laurent Blanc or Christophe Galtier in charge

Pardew signed Debuchy and Cabaye who are French. Marveaux too.

He hardly signs English players anyway, Cisse, Anita, Marveaux, Cabaye, Debuchy, Krul, Santon, they're all Pardew singings I think.

Krul definitely wasn't, he's been there four years longer than Pardew.

I wish more people took an interest in wider football. For the vast majority it is the Premier League and at a push La Liga and there's nothing else, which is largely Sky's fault at they're the leagues they have access to. As a result so many stIll think the PL is "THE BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD" when there isnt a single shred of evidence to even remotely back this up. The wider media over here is just as bad, they dont know anything about players from other leagues and still peddle outdated stereotypes from 40 years ago.

Personally I love Italian football as many will know from previous posts. I dont think it's 'the best', the evidence would suggest La Liga, but it's certainly my favourite as it is ultra competitive and as Jose says unique in that there are literally no easy games. Even the very worst teams set themselves up brilliantly tactically. But even if you dont like Serie A Id suggest anyone who can afford it signs up to ESPN as you get German, French, Dutch, Portuguese and Brazillian live games and highlights off the top of my head.
