There was a rumour that he might go to Brizzle until the end of the season, but it was a week or so back and I've not heard anything recently.
For some reason I wanna see him play in the cup Probably because I haven't seen him play for so long, just like I was excited to see Stewart play for us again and look how that ended up..
well you know my feelings. this could be as big an eventual mistake as the Gary Bradshaw scenario. for me good management (a huge salary reduction at the end of the season based on his goalscoring record), patience and time is required to give us a good goalscorer at championship level
I think there's definitely a player in there and he's still only young so there's time. I would love it for him to go somewhere the second half of the season, score goals and play well because otherwise time is running out.
Agreed. I thought it was just Mussie and I who'd seen it but there's definitely a player in there. He's a goalscorer as he's shown whenever he's played regularly. Unfortunately for him he's had some **** luck with his loan moves, always getting injured or frozen out and not getting games for whatever reason.
to be fair it isnt just me and you. not that i knew the bloke personally, but i did get a chance to talk personally to nigel pearson whilst watching a reserve match a while ago. he rated him highly
I think we should keep him. There is regularly an "Ugliest Footballers" item in the press, and Cullen is our best chance of getting a representative in the team.
Could we sell him to Leicester then? They could have him for free in exchange for keeping that **** AKCJ off our board.
Mark Cullen's time was up a while back now; when he proved that he couldn't stay onside or get into a goalscoring position. We've only kept him because of our small squad size IMO. I remember when he scored shed loads of goals for the reserves one Season, and he was tipped for big things and then in the first team, he was just awful. It's a shame because it's always good to see a youngster break through into the first team but he just couldn't make the cut unfortunately.
He's scored twice in 42 league games, the only place he's scored regularly is in our ****ty reserve league(though he did score when it wasn't as ****ty as it is now). He looked a star for the reserves, he's looked anything but when he's been in a first team, he's only really good at two things, being injured and being offside. I think we should all give him a big wave at the Barnsley game, as I suspect it's the last time we'll ever see him.
I went to both Orient games, I'll be going in hope that they repay me after two shocking performances.
