The reason he is still with us is the investment the club has made in him nothing to do with MONs opinion of him, we can all see how high MON rates him by the lack of minutes he gets.
Sorry like but if you think Wickham hasn't improved recently then you need to watch closer. He was a let down in the Bolton game yes but he HAS improved from last season.
Agreed, but as mentioned earlier, he may just have 12-18 months - before his contract is up for renewal, and as long as we play just 1 up-front, he may not get enough chances to prove himself with us.
What he needs is somebody to go up to the training ground & play Hearts on Fire (Rocky IV training montage) for him. Next time he gets on the pitch he'll be **** hot.
