This is a strange turn of events. Warnock was almost having a rolling orgasm over him the last month or so and now he's coming back. Don't they need him for the rest of the season.

He turned mind bogglingly ****. Warnock's after someone else (we've been linked with Dawson from West Brom).

Im a bit gutted he's coming back, its another mouth to feed and he would have no chance of getting game time, was hoping Leeds would have him permenant . Tate is championship standard at best and i thought that was only when he plays to his maximum ,which he did most of the time.

The Leeds boss is no mug so if tate has fallen in standards for them then they Are lucky they can wave goodbye.
What we Are gonna do with him for the NeXT few years ive no idea..unless we have a major fall down the divisions he Will hardly feature for us and thats not a great way to wind down a fantastic swans career.

    Maybe on Loan to Cardiff??...<laugh>

Strange Warnock was on record as wanting him permanently just 3 weeks ago.

Possibly sour grapes as you realise Warnock is just the monkey to Ken Bates' organ grinder? I wait with baited breath to see who you actually now get (not), but suspect you may be disappointed and longing for big Al's return.

    Welcome back Tatey .....LEGEND!

His performances were on display for everyone to see. He almost single handedly lost us the Nottingham Forest game and has been awful since. We have 3 CB's who have all played significantly better than Tate so he's no loss at all. He wasn't even on the bench for our last game. Oh and Bates isn't in charge any more.

It was weird, he started out as everything we'd hoped for, he was classy, organizing the back 4, dealing with trouble, then he just seemed to suddenly forget how to play football.

He's technically chairman until the end of the season before taking up an honorary role as president, however he owns no shares and has had his directorship terminated. It's also worth noting it's the same set up there was at Chelsea after Abramovich took over, and look how that ended up.

Ive never rated tate as a player very much since he first arrived here i always panicked when he got a touch of the ball near our goal area and the loads of shouts i heared of ffs dont pass it to him from around me over the years echo`d my thoughts. But im sure he`s a nice enough bloke though i was glad when we seemed to have offloaded him, but now he`s heading back thank god he`s unlikely to get on the team sheet unless something terrible happens. Couldnt we offer him to Wrexham he`d prob do well for them as a fellow welsh club that we do like it could be good even if we chipped in his wages ?

Didn't realise he is contracted for the next 2 1/2 years though......club legend maybe, but we have to be realistic. We cannot be giving anyone a free ride as it's stopping Dai getting his discounted tickets!
