Totally agree. The only thing I'd have from Boro is their chairman. If we'd had Gibson for the last decade we'd be major forces in the Premier League. Alas we've had Shepherd and then Ashley, the Anti-Gibsons if you like.

I can back that up, one of my friends down here (and my old flatmate's girlfriend) supposedly knew Woodgate and she said he was pretty much forced out of Boro by some dealers and told not to come back. Apparently it was some lad who took the fall for him so he could play footie and they'd fallen out despite Woodgate paying him off with a house and a few other things. Also apparently he threw a massive rave/houseparty before he left.

Legal disclaimer: I say apparently & supposedly because these were her claims and not mine & if they turn out false I hold no responsibility for any slander as a cause of these unfounded claims!

(I know there's a precedent for online rumours now and so you can be sued for what you say, so I won't 100% back what I was told, it's just a rumour.)

Anyway the lass's friends from back home in Boro when they've visited in the past are massive wreckheads and even pinched my ex-flatmate's iPhone, so the rumour wouldn't surprise me one bit if they were the type of people he hung around with as well!
We wouldn't let them in our flat as we both had a lot of valuable stuff after his iPhone went missing in her room after he literally nipped to the loo .
This was 2 and a half years ago now, so it was when the iPhone was even more expensive than now (think it was still 2g as well).

I heard Kieron Dyer and Craig Bellamy were arrogant little ****s who Bobby Robson didn't like.

 

I started this rumour years ago during the Bobby Robson years. Basically Keyring done an interview where, when asked about his recurring injuries, he said that he has 'issues' which the club were aware of and were sympathetic about but he didn't want to go in details about it. Therefore, using my legal mind, I deduced he had aids or similar disease.

Can't explain the 5+ year time lapse or how my rumour got from rural Scotland to Guernsey. But I started it.

 

I was discussing this today and I remembered reading this thread. If he does have HIV it explains why he kept (and still does), suddenly 'picking up injuries' and missing months of football. What I heard today was that back when the team used to stay in a Newcastle hotel (I can't remember which one she said) before home matches, apparently Dyer used to invite loads of women to his room to shag. Also he had no standards whatsoever so it is not really surprising if he did get HIV of one of them. I got told this by someone who was doing work experience as room service or maid or something like that. Apparently he was a right bastard aswell because all the players got a complementary tub of jelly beans from the hotel and Dyer gave them to workers as tips when the other players obviously gave generous cash tips.
